It was Hallow Weekends, and they had this haunted house with "toys that can come to life" so yeah, it was stupid (but the coasters where incredible) but right when I was in line for the whole "toy haunted house ride" they where playing the Netherworld music from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness! It made me so happy that I didn't jump at any of the startle moments in the ride at all, all I was thinking was "man, its so awesome to hear something as awesome as Disgaea go out into the public"

Dude... I am so jealous right now.

I haven't been to Ceder Point in nearly seven years. Memories are flooding back, I remember when Top Thrill Dragster was in construction. And when it was finished, but at the time I was eleven and emotionally scarred from Millinium Force, so I never rode it... Do the lines still take two hours on TTD?

Haven't been there in 2-3 years... not a fan of Amusement Parks. But glad you had a blast.

There's almost always lines there. Not as bad as say Disney World, but usually 40 min lines or so for each ride. Maverick and Millennium usually have the worst lines. But if you've never been on the TTD or the Millennium then it's well worth the wait, both are great rides.

The Top Thrill Dragster had a good hour and a half line when I went. It was a great ride, and I do not regret it. Would ride again...

I never went on that. I was there when they literally just opened it. My friends went on save a few of them, and myself. We were just watching the people, and the group right before my friends shot off, went up, but for some reason, did not have enough momentum. They fell back down the way they came up.

After seeing that, I was like, "There is no way on this Earth I'm going on that thing." I kind of regret it now...

Oh I don't doubt it, on a good day (especially if it's the weekend) the lines can easily be that long.

Haha, yeah it doesn't always clear the hill (I kinda wish that would happen to me once). It looks intimating and most people are like "oh well it's only like a 6 second ride it's not worth it" but believe me, it is. That rush going from 1-120 in 3 seconds or whatever is unreal.

Really? Hmm, well I'm not much of an adrenaline junky, but that does seem to be a unique case. I don't know if and when I'll go back, but if I do, I decree a KHV Cedar Point Day.

It was on a weekend, I think. A good day. I didn't get to ride it twice, though; I think some lady spiked my drink because she wouldn't stop laughing while she was getting it and putting my money away and I got sick after drinking it. Don't know, but I felt really weird afterwards.

An Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. Kind of like a sister park to Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA.

And far more known. I have never heard of Dorney Park before.

That would be pretty damn awesome.

Hopefully it didn't ruin your day too much.

It's an awesome roller coaster park in Sandusky, Ohio. About a 2 hour drive from where I live, not sure about the others. There are other parks similar to it though... think there's one in New Jersey but not nearly as good.

-Edit- Er okay it wasn't New Jersey, but yeah I was thinking of Dorney Park that Llave mentioned.

    That it would.
It didn't; I had ridden everything once already, so I was pretty much fine with it, other than being sick and all.

I remember when my friends and I saw the CP store and made jokes about how we were going to buy some. Good times...

It's more known to the locals of the Tristate, but it is very on par with Cedar Point. Cedar Point was commissioned in 1870, whereas Dorney Park was in 1884. So Cedar Point is older, but not by much.

Dorney is really interesting, and if you are ever in the area, I would highly suggest going. There are a few rides that are the same as Cedar Point, but they do have a good selection of unique rides.

    If interested, here's a link: http://www.dorneypark.com/

    Let's round up the troops!

Dorney Park, I think that's what you meant. Pennsylvania actually.

Yeah that's what I edited in my post. I got it confused because I was in New Jersey when I heard about it and noticed their logo was the same as Cedar Point's. I never actually been there though, I'm just told it isn't as good.

Oh cool I've heard for Dorney but just not Cedar Point xD

Haven't been to Dorney in a looong time though.

    Nah it's all good.

Yeah Dorney isn't as top notch as Cedar Point, but it does very well on it's own. I do recommend going at least once.

Neither have I, last time I remember going was about 4 years ago... but it was still good then, and still good now.

You have no idea, they stretch out even from the line, so from all the way from a food stand, you will see lines just waiting to get on the Dragster, its ****ing ******ed.
