So I started playing Shadow of the Colossus

I've wanted to buy this game for years and holy balls it's difficult

I was about the play that when I rented it from the library in Colorado, but I got distracted by Valkyrie Profile, so it never got done. But I don't regret it, since I learned how much I loved Valkyrie Profile

No Hydra Colossus, shame though, coulda been a cool one.

 

The only real difficult part is playing it the first time and having no clue how to kill the colossus (or heck just finding some are hard)


I will always hate the large flying one where you have to shoot at to get it down and the one with the geysers.
My favorite is Dirge.

 

FUCKING GEYSERS.

I dont remember their names, but number 13 is my absolute favourite, and it's a shoot to get it down one.

 

THAT IS THE FLYING ONE IM TALKING ABOUT.

I think its Phalanx or something.

But Dirge is my fav because the whole battle is so tense and he is one of the only colossi to actually be hostile.

He's pretty baller, but I love 13, you shoot him down with a great arrow, then ride up beside him as he drags into the sand, AND JUMP! Oh man, those feels when he soars back up and you're clinging for life.

Um, I think my favorite colossus is either Gaius (the one that tries you smash you with a big sword thing) or Avion (the bird).

 

Yeah it took a little while to get used to the controls and I think that's why it's hard right now. I think I'll get used to it. I'm only up to the 4th colossus.

Omg the horse I couldn't even ride the horse right for like an hour.

Side note: I really like their eyes for some reason

I hate the 4th colossus, I always have a really awkward time getting onto him, even though I know what I have to do, he refuses to cooperate.

 

Yeah I know that's what stumping me too. I went into the tunnels and I guess you have to wait for him to lower himself down so you can jump on his tail but he doesn't lower himself lol
