So I started FFXIII...

yet again, i am having a hard time with the story

 

I got up to chapter 5 and gave up on the story. I have some idea...but meh. I just play the game now, fight some bosses and shiz


one tip: even though its very easy to avoid enemies, fight them anyway, or your players will become hell weak, trust me =]

 

I haven't played the game, but I heard that there's some sort of in-game encyclopedia that helps a lot.

 

I don't have a PS3, or an XBOX, so I just watched all the cutscenes online.

I understood the story.

 

The story isn't THAT hard, but it gets easier to understand the more you play.

 

You just inspired me to dedicate today just to that game.

Baldanders, you're going down.


And the datalog helps, but there's a lot of things you won't understand until later on.


When I first started, I seriously thought I had started in the middle of the game instead of the beginning lol

Take your month-earlier released games and shove it.

 

I would read episode Zero before you get too into it, IMO.

It explains a lot.

It gets a lot easier as you progress...STAY OFF THE INTERWEBS TILL YOU COMPLETE IT! >|

Seriously though, the beginning made a lot more sense after I got to chapter 10 or so. But then again, I doubt you read all of the datalog like I do.

I think the story line is a little difficult to understand, but a lot of it is explained in the datalog... If you don't understand somethign go there. It will HELP!! ahahah

But even being able to understand it doesn't REALLLYY help.. it's still a pretty lame story line. FINAL FANTASY 7 AND 10!!! WILL ALWAYSS BE MY FAVORITE!! =D

Cheats are for loserssss.... If you really need cheats to beat a game, (especially this game, because it's mad easy) you're a dork and should just give up videogames forever. ;) jk

BUT seriously just play it w/o cheats it's more fun that way.

 

Personally, i thought FFXIII's story was cracking. Absolutely loved it. Aye it was slightly puzzling at first, but it all plays out. Loads of PLOT TWISTS!
