    Watamote was terrible.

[Terribly awesome] Tell me what you guys think of the review though.

Also, what'd you guys think of Watamote?

Got a lot of the main points I thought about during the season's run, well done.I have to say the best thing I love about the show was it's opening. I loop that $hit every time I'm playing something violent. But the protagonist has something to be admired as well, having a likeable quality to a knowingly unpopular person. They really captured the ideals and struggles of wanting to be popular to an extreme. Like you mentioned, vomiting out of disgust of yourself. I can't say I liked the entire series that much, but from the beginning and ending episodes, people are able to get the general message the series conveys.

On note of the review, I would have liked to see a little more footage and maybe a little less tint coming off your glasses. T'was a bit distracting. Overall it was a good review. Got your points across and even had some nice background music so there was little to no dead space.

I like the reviews in that it's mostly just you explaining the series in terms of what it was and not casting it in terms of what you thought was good and bad about it. It feels more complete and correct. But I really do think more clips would benefit your discussion of the animation or specific scenes because from this is a lot like a conversation you're having with someone rather than a proper review with examples from the work.

I read watamote back when /a/ first started posting images from it and I kept up for a while. But in the end, I can't really follow it consistently because it hits too close to me as a person. When I read the manga I cringe and alt+tab away a lot out of embarrassment and self awareness on a regular basis. I haven't done a lot of the direct things Tomoko's done or thought the things she's thought, but I've felt that way and I've handled social interactions with similar levels of finesse. When I found out the series was somewhat autobiographical I stopped reading entirely. I tried to pick it up with the anime but it felt too painful still. Too close. Since 2011 I really haven't grown too much as a person so I still struggle with the same things. Personally, I think Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come Wa Machigaiteru was both easier to watch and pulled off better.

You should also review something you didn't like once so we can see if your more critical reviews are any better/worse.

Haha, the opening was great too. Metalcore is slowly becoming my guilty pleasure.

Yeah, tbh, I was kinda rushing with editing this review (editing is THE most tedious part of the whole reviewing process), plus I'm a total novice with Sony Vegas haha. But, it's all good. Next video will be 10 times better, with a sick intro, outro, and more footage from the actual anime.[DOUBLEPOST=1389076999][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thanks. And I'll definitely add more **** in during the next video.

Haha, that's kinda cute, tbh. But anyway, I feel like the reason you do this is because you're probably insecure about yourself and probably want to forget certain aspects of yourself. I know I'd probably feel the same way a few years ago, since Tomoko and I share (or at least used to share) a lot of the same traits. I would give you a motivational talk about being more confident, looking past your old self, and trying to build yourself into the person you want to be, but I feel like this is kind of an inappropriate place to talk about that, no?

Anyway, bottom line is, I definitely think this show is worth a try, especially for you. The fact that it provokes such a strong response in you speaks volumes of it's artistic value. Perhaps you may see something in Tomoko that will strive you to be a more confident person.

Yes, that is what I was planning to do for my next review, but I'm not sure if I should re-watch and review an anime that I already saw and hated, watch an anime that I think I'll hate, or just pick an anime with no preconceived notions. Guess we'll see.
