So I never made a thread

And since I found out that my failing health may lead to my death, I figured I'd pop in and make one.
Basically, I might have lung cancer. Not that surprising with all the smoke I'm around. But I reuse to let anyone I know irl find out.
So I figure, I better focus doubly hard on my studies, and try and at least make it through High School without killing myself over the **** that's going on right now.

If it's truly that serious go see a doctor if you haven't already; not letting anyone know IRL is not a fair trade off for your life.
You are a gifted artist, and it'd be a shame to lose out on that because you don't want people to know you have (or may have) lung cancer.

I won't pretend I know you well, because I don't, but...still, if you need someone to talk to, I'll be here.

I was so confused on what to say here...
I've had a lung cancer scare with my mom, but it worked out.
Then I had a less serious one for myself, but it wasn't it.
So I want to say I know how you feel, but I really don't...
Well, either way, I'm sorry and I hope it works out to the best for you.

 

You're going through a lot of **** right now and I'm sorry it's happening. Dunno how you know you have a 37% chance of having lung cancer, but you haven't told anyone about it. Still though, all the stuff you tell me about really cuts to my core and I really wish we could do something to help you. Keep your hopes up, you have our support.

I really hope the best for you. Whatever you do... don't give up on your hopes, dreams, and goals. And especially don't give up on yourself- that's the worst possible thing you can do. I honestly have no idea what you're going through personally, but I have seen members of my own family deal with it. Please, please, please seek out any and all help you can get and fight like hell.
