Yup, I just watched some videos on youtube and... Something was a little off. Has this bear become a fuzzy Peter Pan?

 

To be honest, I have an obsession of playing a series from the start, so I never really got into the FF scene.

 

Dude, you can still get hold of some of the early games, though it can be hard.

I am still in love with FFIV and V


Besides which, it isn't really a series as such, the only ones that are connected are FFX and FFX2 *(though there is some speculation about a possible connection between FFX2 and FFVII). They are all FF but they are seperate within that so if you don't play them all you wont lose anything.

Some people believe that FFX2 is like a prelude to FFVII, like it is the past.

Mainly because there is a kid named Shinra in FFX2, the kid is a genius and in his info thing it says that he is holding the key to Spira's future. He also talks about using the energy of the farplace to build huge cities that never sleep. Plus there is a link between the spheres and material. There was even a though that pyreflies are some early form of the lifestream.


I don't buy it myself, but a lot of people do.

 

Because Mr.what's-his-name devoloper for FF guy said so in an interview.
Plus, There's a lot of clues in FFX-2. for instance the boy "Shinra", who plans to extract Energy from The farplane (which is life energy, the same thing as lifestream)
