Man, what a beautiful game. One of the few games that made me cry. (And believe me, I rarely cry when I play video games.) And I just want to play a second playthrough! A few questions though for the ones who finished the game... ...What perks do you recommend? I was thinking Artes as one of them, but I have about 2000-2500 Grade. Should I spend all my grade or just save it for future playthroughs?
You should try it sometime! It's originally on the PS2, but it has been ported to the 3DS. .....Just don't let Plums read what you just posted....
It depends! I used my Grade to get the double EXP bonus & keep Artes, but I also got a lot of the minor things like Luke's journal. I would definitely recommend playing again because you notice all the hints towards later plot points, and there is a lot of bonus content unlockable in a second playthrough, including two locations and some new side missions. edit: Also, and I might be wrong, but I believe Grade you spent in the Grade Shop comes back after you finish another playthrough. So the Grade you spend now will be available to you when you finish again, but you lose the stuff you buy unless you choose to buy it again. At that point though, you'll have more than enough Grade, so there should be no worries. that and the game is good enough to play twice i might have done three playthroughs BUY IT PLAY IT THINK ABOUT LUKE/TEAR FOREVER MORE
Yeah! Awesome game with a great cast of characters. I found Luke to be incredibly annoying from start to finish, but he did get some good character development. Tear & Guy tho. <3 Spoiler IS IT JUST ME OR DID ANYONE ELSE LAUGH AT THE DESTRUCTON OF AKZERIUTH? It was obviously trying to tug at the 'ole heart strings but I couldn't stop giggling, especially when that one little kid started sinking into the miasma and they couldn't save him and he died lmfaooo... >_> As for Grade, it's essentially up to you, but I would at least go for double exp, artes and skills. I always grade-grind at the end of the game with the blue dice equipped so I can buy everything in the grade shop but it just takes so long ;~;
I remember when I first beat the game and I was choosing what things to bring over.....and I accidentally started a new game with 1/2 EXP.....so now I'm doing a whole playthrough while earning half of the normal exp....at least I put all of the artes over..but I didn't get all my money over......It just isn't fair. I had a hard enough time iwth the secret boss on the normal play without any EXP difference, and now i'm going to be even lower, this is going to murder me so much
