So I caught some sort of illness

I had regular cold-like symptoms until this evening, when my mouth and throat started getting really dried out for no apparent reason. I keep getting really thirsty and have to drink a bunch of water, but it never really helps.

Should I be worried or not? xD

When you're sick you need a lot of water because you de-hydrate fast, and that's probably why :3

So yeah, just keep drinking loads of water :')

 

sounds like it could just be strep throat. maybe...
or it could be flu or cold. or a combination of those.
it sounds like what i get a lot though. if it is, you will just feel like **** for a few days. try drinking a gallon of orange juice. that always helps me.

Anyway, unless your throat starts to hurt and feel rough, I wouldn't be worried about anything like strep throat. Just drink plenty of fluids and hopefully you'll get better in the next few days or so. (:

Thanks though everyone, it got better after a few hours. I might have just been breathing through my mouth more without realizing it because of my stuffy nose, thus drying out my throat and mouth... I turned the fan off in the room and it helped, in any case xD.

It was definitely freaking me out last night though.
