Kingdom Hearts So how come Sora is such a shrimpy?

Seriously Sora's arms are ridicilously thin. I started to think he was on a diet or something. While if you look at Riku he has solid muscled arms. Would be better if Sora got a pair of those too imo.

 

OMG! I know! in the FM version, his christmas costume makes his arms look like twigs... haha!

 

Sora was designed to be a standard issue Square Enix bishounen I think, therefore he couldn't be too far from the 'average' boy.
Riku was designed to the dark and sexy anti-hero. So they made him as sterotypically 'hot' as possible.

At least that's what I think.

 

I always thought of the same thing myself. How tall is Sora anyway?

 

In the first game, we don't have an exact height, but he comes up to about the tip of Goofy's nose. I'm guessing he would be five foot two or five foot three.

 

Well, some people are just built differently. But considering this is a game we're talking about, I say it's because of the way Square Enix wanted him. They probably wanted him and Riku to not only be opposites, but look the part too.

 

Yeah, he should really have muscles to show how strong he is...at least a little bit. He doesn't have to be buff like Riku, but he shouldn't look like a twig either =/.

 

Most of the guys thought up for KH look like they have anorexia. That's just the way it is. I did wonder how he could carry a giant metal key around and fight with it.

 

Sora is kinda shrimy,but they almost always make a character who is a goodie two shoesa total shrimp.Not always,but most of the time.

 

It fits his character. I wouldn't have liked it if he was like Riku. It fits him because, well, he is pretty much a wimp...

 

gawrsh, Sora was taking a risk in Blustery Day, he should've been blown away o.O

I wouldn't say Sora's a wimp though, cuz he's brave and has a lot of courage, and he takes on big bosses without much wimpage

 

I honestly loved how this time Square Enix made their hero have muscle :.P
i mean Yuna even had more muscle xP

Maybe they designed him like that so he would be like the unlikely hero. Like, nobody was expecting a scrawny kid to actually end up as a hero. *shrugs shoulders* But yeah, they still need to show a little bit of muscle on him.

 

they based him off of edward elric, shrimpy but strong!

Plus no one in that game comes close to looking half as awesome as riku now, there was no point.

 

he drank coffee when he was about to hit is growth spurt.
and Riku is cooler then him (especially when he accepted the darkness...although he coulda lost the dress)
you know what coffee does, it makes you short. so there ya go.

 

to be fair sora was confined to a flower for 2 years, i cant imagine it would be very spacious in there, probably forced to be short.

 

He was shrimpy because he's a little kid.
Come on, give him a break. In KH2 that's a different story.
