Kingdom Hearts II so...cloud's darkness...

I remember reading this interview saying that Cloud's "darkness" was sephiroth and because of this both characters would gain increasingly larger roles as the series went on... The interview also posed a question saying "if sephiroth is cloud's darkness, does that make sephiroth a heartless?" How about that? I think it would be really cool because finally a Final Fantasy character would play a role in the main plotline instead of just side quests/ side characters and what not...sephiroth has a human form too (besides the wings) so it would be really interesting if he was cloud's heartless because his heart would have to be really strong to have a human-looking heartless...I wonder if sephiroth could be a nobody in the kh series...? Well, enough of my thoughts...what r yours?

 

Though Sephiroth is indeed Cloud's darkness, it isn't mentioned outright in official material he is a Heartless or a Nobody. I mean, Riku does indeed have his darkness and it has manifested in more than one form, but that does not mean he has a Heartless or Nobody. Many people are under the misconception that Riku 'lost his heart' in the first game which would have them to believe that Riku should have an existin' Nobody.

Sephiroth himself is merely Cloud's darkness in a physical form and the appearance and name of it is surely by subconscience if it if you look at it in the Final Fantasy point of view.

 

Sephiroth is the villain of Final Fantasy 7.

He was only in the KH series as a crossover.

So that means he's not a Heartless or a Nobody.

 

The Kingdom Hearts 2 version of Sephiroth and Cloud were based off the Advent Children characters, unlike thier Kingdom Hearts 1 versions based off of the FF 7 version.

In Advent Children, Clouds Geo Stigma gives him a strong connection with Sephiroth. Also, the story explains that those with Geo Stigma (Such as Cloud and Kadaj) actually carry Jenova cells, and as long as there are humans carrying Jenova cells, Sephiroth will never truly go away.

Also, at the end of Advent Children, Sephiroth threatens Cloud saying, "I will never remain part of your memories." This was not explained though, so KH2, claiming that Sephiroth is Clouds darkness, and will never stop existing as long as Cloud has darkness, sort of explains Sephiroths finals words.

 

yeah... but...there is darkness in every heart. Thats a known fact of kingdom hearts. Sephiroth is the darkness in CLOUD'S heart. How is that possible with Sephiroth being a human? Either hes lying -which I doubt because he said he was cloud's darkness in kh1 AND kh2...Or hes got to be something else. Darkness cannot exist on its own in a human. There's always darkness AND light. So far we have not seen any light in sephiroth...and the weirdest thing is that Cloud has darkness in him too...either cloud has SOOO much darkness that he cant hold it all, or something else. Answer me that please.

 

he darkness because he was like a thorn that you sat on? didn't go away untill you dealt with it and gave you a very hard time when trying to live and sit... wait a sec...
