As soon as I saw Stephenie Meyer, I said fuck no. I don't care who wrote it.

It's actually a very decent series.
    I own all three books.

    I loved it.

    Then again, I like Twilight.

I saw that a few days ago at a bookstore and it put me into weird thoughts. I didn't know it was one of her books though.

This **** is pre-Twilight. Also written by a fic-er though so the quality is suspect.

I have not read the book, So I can not express my opinion on this. But just because Stephanie likes this book does not mean it will be terrible. Look at Muse, Stephanie likes them and they are pure genius.

The whole Stephenie Meyer comment thingy isn't exactly what's making me apprehensive about the book, but more of the concept I've read off the back of it. From what I gather from it, ordinary mundane girl gets dragged into supernatural situation due to odd circumstances.Sound familiar?

. . . And maybe the naked guy on the cover, but I digress.

Disregarding a book just because the woman who wrote books you don't like likes it is just silly.

Also, the author has the same first name as me. :'D ... And an eerily similar last name.

Normal people getting pulled into supernatural situations are common place in books, Look at Harry Potter, Interview with a Vampire, The Golden Compass (and the rest of the series) etc etc.

    Are you Cassandra Care?
