Well, I was at Breckendridge, CO earlier because my mom wanted to go look at the snow sculptors again this year, and they were pretty interesting. They weren't nearly as interesting as they were last year when we went to look at them while I was getting info for an english paper, but they're still cool to look at. I probably don't show it well, but I do think it's cool how much work and all that is put into these scultures. Anyways, I took quite a few pictures to share with your guys. These were taken with my phone, so I know they're not the greatest in the world, but I thought it would be cool to show you guys some of them. It's a majority of them, and there are some double pictures, but that's just cause they were either better views, or there was something going on on the other side. There's 18 pictures in all. Oh yeah, some are darker because I turned the lighting down by one just because it was a little bright when I was taking some of them. Spoiler: first Spoiler: second Spoiler: third Spoiler: fourth Spoiler: fifth Spoiler: sixth Spoiler: seventh Spoiler: eighth Spoiler: This was based on Deadliest Catch Spoiler: ninth Spoiler: tenth Sorry for them not being top-grade pictures. You can only do so much with my phone, and I really wanted to share some of them with you. Breckenridge is supposed to be one of the best contests, so I think it's cool (no pun intended). P.S. It took us 1 hour 15 min. to get up there, and 4 hours 30 min. to get home. Took so long my DS battery almost died. Was kinda rediculous. I couldn't even feel my butt after a while. P.S.S. I also got a free Cadillac Beenie while there as well. I don't usually care for them, but it was free, so all I did was take a survey on some stuff. Pretty sweet
That's awesome! :=D: Look at those things! They're so beautiful and cool! The first one is full of details, it's a really well planed. The second is cool, I can perfectly see the faces and the hands! The third is so cute! The fourth is also full of details too! The 5th quite interesting! 6th is really well planed, the 7th is creative. 9th and 10th are really well structured. Really liked all of them, thanks for sharing! :=D:
These are just beautiful. The amount of detail, and shape and just everything... Goodness me,I am in shock. Would love to know how long some of these took to make, and if it was one person or a whole team or what. But I am just in complete shock about how lovely these are.
They only get 64 hours, or was it 72 hours? Either way, they only get at most 3 day's time to get them done. They're not allowed any machines to use either. All of their equipment is hand used, like saws, chicken wire, and things like that.
wow it really cool and beautiful i must said :Awesome:  it almost look like a museum  they are did a good job for making hard snow sculpture such as that
