SNL or MADtv??

Well, really... what the title says. What do you prefer? SNL or MADtv? Which one is better/funnier? And why?

IMO:
I pick both, but prefer SNL. Though MADtv is just as funny and there are a couple of skits that they can do and make that SNL might not be able to do for shyte, but it's also vice versa when it comes to SNL as well. But I still prefer SNL because their skits are funnier for the most part.

 

SNL hands down. i mean sure MAD has its moments of good sketches but SNL is almost always great
(save a few fluke hosts that is)

 

I'm sort of a SNL fan.
So yea, it's better.
And I've never watched Madtv before.

 

Mad had it's good times and bad, but SNL had Akroyd, Belushi, Farley, Ferrel, that Sean Connery guy. SNL is more well known IMO.

 

wow.. SNL is so much more popular than MAD.... O_O
kinda figures I guess. MAD had its moments... but SNL owns it all.

I've watched MAD a few times before and it's really just not as funny or as entertaining as SNL.

Plus SNL has the cowbell skit, which is my favorite thing i've ever seen on TV.

Can't beat SNL.
SNL has made me laugh so hard I've cried (almost every time I watch it).
MADTV has only made me chuckle.

 

I like Madtv more, Bobby Lee is incredibly funny.

SNL is pretty funny but some of their skits are too inappropriate for me, an example would be Justin Timberlake's D*ck in a Box.

Heh. What's funny about this topic is that it was a Spanish question asked in class yesterday, same choices too.

SNL owns MadTV. A lot funnier.

I think MadTV stays consistent usually with funny skits. SNL has great ones like '**** in the box' but then has a lot of boring skits in between those. So I chose MadTV for just generally to me being more funny more often.

 

I would go with MadTV

 

a great MADtv skit that stuck to me was "Tickle me Emo"

Yeah, the tickle me Emo was great. That skit has been posted everywhere to watch by me because it was just made of win.

 

I like Mad TV a bit more mainly cause I see it more than SNL.
