Where we left off... “It’s him, alright…” A mysterious man in a cloak said to a person beside him. “But…how do you know?” The other one replied. “I just know.” Shrii turned around only to see the two were gone. “I could’ve sworn…” “SHRII! COME ONE! We’re gonna be late!” Now, back to the story... “Uh…ya, I’ll catch up.” He yelled back to Kin. “Don’t say that! Last time ya said that you ran off!” Kin yelled back as he was running towards the voice. “Follow the Light…” “That voice…It sounds so familiar…” He said to himself as he went to the area where he heard them, “where…did they go?” “Shrii! Don’t leave me! Tell me what’s up!” Kin said sternly to him and stared at him with her fists on her hips. “If ya wanna know…You can NOT call me crazy after!” He replied back with a smirk. “Deal…but I always think you’re creepy…it’s cute.” She said with a wink. “Uh…” was all he could say as he blushed and replied with: “So do ya want me to tell you or not?” “Of course! Tell me!” She yelled loudly. “Arg…” He grabbed her and covered her mouth and got to a safe point where no one, except they, knew about, “Lately…I’ve been thinking and I keep hearing voices that say ‘Follow the Light…’ and I don’t know what it is.” “Uh…well…” She scratched her neck and replied, “I guess that is crazy…but that’s cute, too…” “Why do you call it ‘cute’? What do you mean?” Shrii asked with curiosity in his eyes, “I’m curious now.” “Well, Shrii…Curiosity killed the cat.” She said to him as she walked towards school. “What…I…you…but…” He stuttered quickly for a bit before he said, “WHO ARE YOU?” She stopped in her tracks and turned around to see him staring at her. “What do you mean?” She asked with a bit of wisdom of what about what he was talking about. “What is up with you? You sound like you’re trying to flirt with me?” He looked over at her and all he could say was: “D-do you…?” “Do I what?” She said with a bit of pink in her cheeks. “Do you flirt with me?” He stared at her as the wind blew through the air. “Of course…It’s my natural instinct.” She laughed as she sounded like she was joking. “Do you…do it because you like me?” He asked with his head down. She stopped laughing and stared at him. A minute and a half passed before she responded in between stutters. “Uh…I…That is to say…Um…well…” She looked over and blushed. “Do you? Simple yes or no question.” He asked her. “I do a bit…Now can we stop being emo and--” “Follow the Light…” Kin gasped as she heard this. “D-did you hear…” Shrii looked up with a bit of a smile. “So…I’m NOT crazy! SHOW YOURSELF, COWARD!” At that point, a tall man appeared in front of the two. “Ah, lovers…” The man said, “believing in a fake emotion that is caused by your brain…Believing it makes you love…HA! You will feel no emotion…” The two stood there, 2.5m away from each other, and the man pulled out a sword and aimed for Kin. “K-Kin!” Shrii screamed as the man looked at him. “One more move and she dies…” He said as he moved towards her. “URG!” He fell to the ground, clutching his head. “The noise…MAKE IT…STOP!” When Shrii opened his eyes, he jumped towards Kin and pushed her out of the way and got stabbed in the heart by the man's sword. Shrii just laughed and smiled at him saying: “I’ve been stabbed through the heart…Hehe…but I don’t care…I have to save the one I love.” As he said this, he shattered the sword with his bare hands and flew towards the man and grabbed his neck. The motion of doing so pushed the man’s hood off. The face was that of which he had never seen before…But that’ll have to wait until chapter 3. ~ End of Chapter 2 ~ EDIT: I accidentally put "End of Chapter 3" My bad. ;-; Please tell me if I done goooood. The motion of doing so pushed the man’s hood off. The face was that of which he had never seen before… And now...back to the story The man that Shrii had just attacked had a long scar. This scar went from the top of his right eye down to about above his lip on the left side. He looked at Shrii and said with a smirk: “You guys are so screwed…I called for back up and they should be here any minute now!” “You’re kidding me!” Shrii yelled as he threw the cloaked man towards a tree. “Good.” Was all he said when behind him a portal opened up and he went through it and disappeared. “…” Shrii just stood there silently as Kin walked up to him and put her hand on his shoulder. “It’s okay, Shrii…We’ll find him again…But who was he?” “I don’t know…” Shrii said as he looked up to the sky to see purple clouds roll in. “Keh?” Out of the clouds, a huge rock fell and landed 10.25m away from the two. “Wh-what is it?” Shrii asked as he walked closer to it, “it’s…a meteor?” Shrii got to about 7.342m away from it when a piece of it broke off and a hand came out. “Oh my gosh…” Kin said to herself as she came up behind him. “This can’t be good.” Shrii yelled as he grabbed her hand and ran. “Out of the darkness, I have come to get revenge on you, Heart stealer!”The voice said as it came out of the shell. “For I am Nyia! The ruler of the dark realm!” The figure said as he stared at them with a face like the kinds you see on Naruto. The white masks that ANBU wear. “Nyia is here to kill you and take your heart back to the place where we put them for safe-keeping. But I should do it and replace you, so your mommy doesn’t get worried!” “I’m not a kid!” Shrii screamed as he ran towards him, unusually fast, might I add. “You will regret this day, Shrii Kenayo…” Nyia said as he grabbed Shrii by the throat and threw him away. “This time…I think I’ll go for your girlfriend.” He said as he walked towards her and smiled with a chuckle. “You’re mine, now.” Shrii stood up and saw him going towards her and yelled over to him: “Don’t…touch…her…I’m the one…you wanted…right?” He was too exhausted to talk, let alone FIGHT. “You can’t lay one finger on me! What makes you think I would fight you?” Nyia asked with a bit of curiosity in his voice. “I…have to…protect my…friends…” He gave a huge roar and got down on all fours and ran towards Nyia like a wolf almost. “You’re mine!” Shrii jumped in the air and whipped out a 1.23m sword and slashed at him. “Feh…I didn’t see that coming…” Nyia fell to his knees and laughed. “You aren’t winning that easily…” Nyia faded into a portal at his feet and disappeared. “NO! He…got away…” Shrii said as he got a bit dizzy. “Shrii! You...saved me!” She walked up to him and was about to give him a hug and, possibly, a kiss. “Shrii?” “Ugh…I’m…fine, K-K-Ki-in…” Shrii struggled to speak. At that point he fell on his face and coughed up some blood. “Wha…what the?” Kin was worried so she ran to the school and slammed the doors. “What is it, young lady?” An old woman of about 63 said as she opened the door. “M-my friend! He is hurt bad!” She said as they ran there only to see Shrii standing up without any scratches or anything. Shrii saw the teacher and glared. “H-hi, miss Womma!” He said nervously. ~ End Chapter 3 ~
