Inspired by libregkd's thread and my fascination with offices, I thought we could have a "share your work station" thread. Basically, take some pictures of where you use your computer, do homework, or any other office work! Bonus points to whoever has a clean & organized desk. If you'd like to go the extra mile, feel free to offer specs on what is pictured! For scrolling purposes, please put images under spoiler tags! Laptop: HP Envy m6 (15.6" screen, AMD A10-4600M APU Quad-Core ~2.3GHz, 6GB DDR3 RAM, Radeon HD 7660G, 750GB hard drive) Monitor (used as a second display to the laptop): 20" Acer S202HL, 1600x900 resolution. Printer: Brother MFC-J430W. Wireless printer shared by the whole family. Desk: IKEA VIKA AMON in white. A little crooked because I had to move it myself, waiting for someone strong to straighten it out. :L Webcam: Logitech C310 Art: Nan Lawson Cable management is not up to my usual standards because I've been grabbing my laptop charger quickly & going to school. I'm also waiting for a cable to arrive in the mail that will force me to redo some things. Angled View Spoiler View attachment 33754 Pencil Cup & Decor my favorite part! Hope you enjoyed mah crib bishes.
My desk where I come up with ideas for stories, and where I put my computer that doesn't work. Spoiler My books and manga. Uses them as a source of inspiration or when I have writer's block Spoiler And just because I want to. Spoiler
i don't even work at this "work space," it's more of a do my make-up and hair place and i'll occasionally put my laptop there to print or charge my laptop, lol Spoiler but yeah, like that big white container on the right is all my make-up and then i have a mirror, and a light, and a fan for when it gets hot and then underneath is my trashcan and my printer and then my laptop is laying on my bed because whotf sits at a table on a laptop and my hair straightener is laying there because it was too hot to put away OH AND I HAVE A CUTE ASS COFFEE MUG WITH A BIRD ON IT, but you can't really see it, and i don't even drink coffee from it so i just use it as a pencil holder
I used to have that book! Then a leaky ceiling happened :'c But anyway, here is mine: First off, my desk by the kitchen, where I have my dinosaur of a computer: Spoiler Here is my nightside table, where I keep my extra pencils in case I want to draw: Spoiler And lastly, my bookshelf, in case I need to read a book for a report: Spoiler EDIT: Yeah, my phone ****s up the perspective, I'll try to fix them soon xD
I consider all of it to be my workspace. xD Spoiler Dell - AMD Phenom II x 4 830 Processor 2.80GHz Ram - 6.00GB Graphics Card - ATI Radeon HD 5450 1TB HDD 2TB + 1TB external HDD (Though I do have a portable 500GB HDD for my laptop) Spoiler My wee basket of flash drives I've accumulated over the years, including a Sims 3 version. xD Two mice cause I'm so hardcore! (That and I hate to use the Diablo mouse for work/internet) Spoiler My mini home theatre? Plus subwoofer cause I haven't a scooby where one places it. Spoiler Spoiler My hauppauge hd pvr which I have neglected for a while. Need to record some khv PlayStation All stars on it. Spoiler PC is hooked up to the TV which is hooked up to the blu-ray player with its speakers which sound pretty good for their size. Mainly use it for watching stuff in my comfy chair or bed. xD I can play PC games but it's not idea (Even though they look fabulous on the tv!) The wires stick out, I know, but you don't notice them when you're watching stuff and you get used to them. Would prefer a much bigger desk so I can get another monitor on it but sadly there's no room for one. D: Edit: Canny be bothered taking pictures of my laptop. >_>;
Everyone of you, save for Kitty (maybe!), needs to learn the value of a tidy space. I am very disappointed.
