Kingdom Hearts Should Square Enix release Final Mix 1 to America?

I wasn't sure if this was the right forum so please move it if it isn't.

I know what your thinking the viewer of this thread, why the heck does one need to care about the first Final Mix to be released in America? Well this is why atleast to me. You see after I watched a fight of Unkown aka Xemnas in KHFM on youtube I noticed two attacks Sora has in both our versons of Chain of Memories I bet you guys have two I'm talking about Stun Impact and Slide Dash. Now sure these are just attacks and nothing relaated to the story but it does,you see remember the rules of Castle Oblivion to Sora due to Namine she made him Donald and Goofy forget their moves and spells yet Sora had Stun Impact and Slide Dash as a remembering move while in Kingdom Hearts 1 we never had those moves for Sora only his Final Mix counterpart did.

Too me this is what Square Enix Square soft at the time thought they proboly kept those moves in our version both times to show the Final Mix version is Canon to the story but if so which many of us didn't know about FM back then most of us were just busy with the present alot of us didn't care about releases in Japan that much as we are now. I first just wanted Final Mix just to play it without importing it then with knowing Sora had these moves in his first adventure in Japan reflected to us in Chain of Memories.

Also remember in the English Merchandise site Square released Sora's Limit Form only available in KH2FM yet labled it as Kingdom HEarts 2 available as a form. So in a way SE is showing they have some plans to release the FM games to us as easter eggs but if so when and why so late.

The question is if you havn't imported Final Mix one and 2 or you have and SE released them to America would you buy them?

 

IMO, KH1 and KH2 Final Mixes(+?) should be put in a bundle pack sold for 40 or 50 bucks. But Squeenix is cheap and probably won't do that.

 

Of course they should release it. They short changed Kingdom Hearts 2 in the first place by leaving out alot of cut scenes and hidden short cuts to fight other enemies.

If they would release it, I won't buy them. 'Cause thankfully my dad knows Japanese so I can play Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and have a reliable translator.
But if I didn't have my dad, then yeah, I would buy it.​

They should have already released the final mixes of Kh and Kh2, I just don't know why they didn't. Anybody know why?

 

Well...they should release it...but releasing it in America would be hell expensive, they need to translate all the game, they need to pay actors for the voices ( Hayden, Jesse, etc. ) and they need to transport all the copies, easy huh?

 

Err i don't know, ist it a bit later for that?
anyways if they did i'll def buy both FM 1 and 2 just for the cutscenes and the extra battles.

It's because they don't think it would be profitable for them. They make a lot of money from the imports.

Also, there was the Diamond Dust and One-winged angel Keyblades in CoM that weren't in the original KH but added in FM. But I doubt they will, since it's been a few years since it was released in Japan.

 

I probaly wouldn't buy it.
The only thing I'm interested in is trying both Terra and FM Xemnas, just so I could see for myself which is harder.

 

Errrmmm...No.
I love KH2FM, however after playing it I know it offers absolutly nothing important to KH2,-maybe future games, but not KH2.
FM1 and FM2 are fan-services in my opinion. Same with Re:CoM, even though the 3-D environment is welcomed.

 

Well....I think they should.But if they were gonna.They would have done it by now.Same with Kh2 Final Mix+.I'm in it for the new moves,and the new fight with Xemnas and such.

 

it would be a good idea however it will make the Japanese annoyed, it was there because we got sephiroth. and if we get it too the Japanese will get angry.

Of couse. No matter how long it's been, it should be released. For one to be fair, for others, fans without the internet, it should be released so they can have some fun and watch the videos in it because if they did not have internet they might not have watched the Final Mix videos with subtles and if they have they might not understand them and watching them in English might help them understand.

 

I think Square Enix should release the game, it would make it much easier on the people who want to play it have access to it instead of getting it online from PlayAsia for example. Besides, for those of us who already have FM + for KH1 and KH2 with an NTSC-U/C PS2, we have to go through the trouble of getting Swap Magic or another method to be able to play the game. It would decrease our risk of harming our Playstation 2's to just release the game on an NTSC-U/C compabable disc.

 

I would buy it.
I don't really care either way but...If they did, I'd get it and play and have a good time. xD​
