Kingdom Hearts II Should more worlds have been brought back into KH2?

Yup. Another boredom topic with yet another useless question. You love these, don't you.
Anyway. Would you have preffered it if the KH development team brought back more worlds from KH1 into KH2? Such as Wonderland, Deep Jungle, Monstro, and End of the world.
My opinion? they should have brought back Neverland. Atlantica was terrible, and didn't give you anything near the swimming experience than I expected from the prior game. I would have rathered flying than spending my time with a stupid singing minigame. I also wouldn't have minded Deep Jungle. I liked that world alot. I'm still confused to why It was never included in CoM.

Neverland, it would be great to see Captain Hook again.
Personally, I wouldn't mind having Deep Jungle, but I was kind of glad that they didn't put in in.

I think that they replaced "End of the World" with "The World That Never Was". With the new plot, I don't think that it would be very logical to have "End of the World" again.

i would say no because the worlds that DID return in KH2 were pretty boring in the sequel (except arguably Olympus Coliseum).

I liked all the worlds except Atlantica. That one they could have replaced with Neverland or Deep Jungle or something. It was pointless to have in the game. I didn't really care for Sora's singing voice either. The whole thing was a pointless minigame, and if we had had Neverland, we could have flown around, beat up Hook again, and seen Tinkerbell.

 

And possibly summoned her again? But I do tend to agree. If Neverland was kept as the same type of world (lots of powerful heartless), it would have been a great Valor/normal training spot. And I wouldn't mind flying, although we got the glide ability from Final form instead of neverland this time.

Agreed, the only world I'd honestly want back in neverland for the Tinkerbell summon.

Port Royal gave a peter pan summon, which was not what I was hoping for =/

 

It depends. I would have liked more worlds, but more new ones, rather than old ones. The old ones that weren't put in had their movie plots resolved in the first game, so I don't know if they would have had good plots in KH2.

If I had to pick a world to be in KH2, it'd be Traverse Town. I don't know why, but I loved that place. :P​

 

I would have liked to see Deep Jungle return, I would have love to beat the crap out of those damn Monkeys...

 

I just think Neverland,and that place that has Tarzan in it.I forgot the name.But I'd like to see those places again.

 

Deep Jungle and Wonderland basically had their movie endings in the first one, so I don't see how they can really go any further with a story in those worlds. I guess Neverland wouldn't have been a bad choice to come back.

 

But in that is included Tinker Bell, so you can't really complain. =/

 

that's a very good point, that is another reason they weren't in. also, i heard there were also some problems with copyright with regard to Deep Jungle which is why it didn't even make an appearance in Chain of Memories and didn't even make an appearance as a flashback in the 2nd Kingdom Hearts.

 

I was actually looking forward to Neverland in KH2 *sigh*
They should have brought it back, insted we got Port royal..

I would've loved Traverse Town back too! It could be explored more but at least the new original town was awesome too. A playable Destiny Islands would've been great, but too bad it wouldn't fit..

Most of the returned worlds were disappointing in ways, more new worlds might've been better instead. I hope any returning worlds in a KH3 manage to stay original unlike Agrabah in KH2.

 

I'm actually kind of happy that they didn't bring back Deep Jungle into KH2. I mean, it wasn't really significant to the story in any way except to add another world into the game. Another thing, for the worlds that Square Enix did bring back, such as Atlantica, Agrabah (which is a pain to play, at least to me it is), or Hollow Bastion, I am a bit happy that they shortened them up a bit. The first play through with long worlds like those is okay, but if you want to play it again and again, it gets annoying to go through such long worlds whe all you want to do is beat the game or look for items. Anyway, I wish they brought back "The End of the World" I actually liked all the craters and the concept of the different colors representing which keyholes had or hadn't been locked.

 

id say no, cuz in kh1 they had too many worlds ><

If I recall, Kingdom Hearts II featured more worlds than it's predecessor.
