Hi I saw a vid of .hack//GU Rebirth it looked pretty cool! I heard its a sequel to the show .hack//ROOTS so I am watching that. I am just asking should I play any other .hack// games to get the story? or is starting with .hack//GU Rebirth is fine?
You don't have to have played the first .hack series to play G.U., however the timeline of G.U. takes place seven years after the events of the first one, thus there are references made throughout G.U. that you probably would have a better understanding of if you knew their histories (which you may know in much greater detail had you played the first .hack series). Overall, you won't be missing anything important I don't think, but you may have a much better grasp of some aspects and ideas in the game by investing time to play the first few games.
yea, it's unessacary. i'm telling u, the game is MUCH more interesting than dothack//roots. but if u have an oppurtunity, watch dothack//sign. that one is a good anime
oh you mean the ones with Kite in them like .hack//infection and so on? Well they are always rented out in rogers video. and Blockbuster doesn't even have it! (well the one I usually go to.))
Yeah, I'm referring to //infection, etc. Like I said, it's not required you play them, but I'm sure it'd be nice.
Ok sure If I seem them no rented it out I'll pick one out. I heard that there is G.U Vol. 3. When is that coming out? I wen't to wikipedia and it says that Azure Kite is not Tri-Edge? Its ovans arm? First off its not the real Kite right its a hacked version right? Also what does it mean by "Hacked Version". Also whats Tri-Edge? All I heard that its a PK that when it kills somebody they can't log back in, but I know there is more to Tri-Edge.
