1 student wounded. 1 student with possible permanent hearing loss. 1 teacher hit in the head with birdshot. Just because no one died doesn't mean it's not tragic. It could have ended a lot worse if he wasn't persuaded to put down the shotgun.
Never said it wasn't tragic. I am shocked and disgusted at what happened. I was just expressing rather mild gratitude that no one died.
Let's hope that this country's gun laws are changed quickly so we don't have to deal with this anymore. And how the heck do you conceal a shotgun till you get into the classroom anyways?
