358/2 Days "Shion" Japanese Name Meanings

I know this is rather quick, but Xaldin just updated that the fourteenth's name is "Shion" and not "Xion." I did a google search of "Shion" and a guess it's a type of daisy. But then again, that was from wiki. O.o
What did you guys come up with?

 

It could still be Xion. we only got one confirmation form the name Shion.

 

Good point. :/ Though "Shion" is a Japanese name like Sora's Riku's and Kairi's. But I am thrilled at all this new info.

 

I've posted this around a couple of times, and sent a pm to Xaldin about it, but this is what I got from a 'Jap to Eng' translator:

However Shion does not have an X in her name, unless that is the name of her somebody.

I am still going with Xion for now.

 

Xigbar and Xion have the same first letter in their names: "shi"

Therefore, it is still "Xion," not "Shion."

 

Adding to what ヨシュア said, "shi" is the closest pronounciation to the "zee" sound in Xigbar. In Japanese, there is no "zee" sound so I suppose "Xion" (pronounced Zee-ahn) could be the actual name (then again, I'm not exactly an expert at Japanese). But who knows, supposing we should wait for an official word on it.
