Chain of Memories Shanelle Gray as Larxene

I don't think it was a good voice for Larxene. maybe Grey DeLisle could do a good Larxene voice, or someone much louder. she seemed to quiet. i like the Japanese Larxene voice better.

 

I actually liked Larxene's english voice. I like the Japanese one a little better, but I still think they picked a good voice for her. The only thing I didn't like about her was her laugh. I felt kind of off, in a way. Other than that, it was dead on.

 

It just kills me that they picked the Wendy's girl, though.

 

It kills me now to know that they pick the Wendy's girl...what a pain, they should have picked someone better, honestly.

 

I found that fact quite surprising. I didn't notice it until I saw someone post it on here and I compared it to the commercial.

I think she did a really good job as Larxene. I was actually thinking this over a few days ago. I loved it, and she seems to give Larxene that...witchy edge. I haven't heard much of the laugh, so I don't know about that factor. But I do know that she made me really pissed while I was fighting her, kind of how the Japanese Larxene did when she just spoke.

 

Well, when you put it that way, she is a pain in battle, but more of a chatter-box...but I still don't like who they picked to play Larxene.

 

I like the voice of Larxene because she sound evil and great to be her.

 

Her voice was too mellow, I had expected it to be way different.

 

I actually heard her voice too, and she sounds like a total wench, I hate her, but can't help but think she is all the more awesome because of it. Though, I swore that when I first fought her, it sounded like she said: "Damn!" or something fairly close to it.

 

exactly. she sounded too perky. and she messed up the Larxene laugh. Now Grey DeLisle would be a perfect voice for her!!!she's loud and her voice is perfect!!!

 

Larxene's Voice

I thought it was great actually! Her voice sounded like just as i had pictured Larxene's voice. The only downside to her voice, was that she could have been more sadistic sounding and put more cruelty in her voice at times.

Someone mentioned that Grey DeLisle would have been a good voice for Larxene, which I agree with. But either way, i think they choose the right type of voice for Larxene. ^_^

I thought her voice was pretty good. It got Larxene's personality accross anyway. As for Shanelle Gray as the Wendy's girl.....well, I never saw the Wendy's commercial in the first place. It was the first time I heard of that person since I do live in Germany and there are no Wendy's in Germany anyway.

See, that's both a good and a bad thing. Grey is a wonderful voice actress, but if she was to do Larxene, we might have been listening to Azula from Avatar, or Narissa from the series of W.I.T.C.H. (Both were exceptionally cruel women, though Azula has Narissa beat. xD) We wanted someone who could make Larxene be Larxene. Instead of Larxene who sounds like so-and-so.

Same here,her laugh was off,Japanese Larxene had the laugh down perfectly.But yeah,her english voice actor did fine in my case.

 

I thought it was a sweet voice. Larxene, however, is not sweet, therefor, the voice was all off. I thought it was a pretty bad voice over. Larxene needs to sound cruel and sarcastic.

 

I thought Larxene's voice was great. I don't know, it just seemed to fit her in my opinion.

 

Well it was okay...

I mean, it's not really Larxene if ya hear it, but once you get used to the voice then I suppose it's alright.
SE could have done better though, but yeah the voice is pretty okay.

 

yea a little more sadistic would've been better but i didn't mind much.

 

When she died, it sounded no where near as dramatic as japanese larxenes death. Her voice didnt have the same harshness that the jap larxene had. It didnt contain that same amount of hostility
