Kingdom Hearts II Sephiroth TIE!?

It's true, I managed to tie against Sephiroth. I brought him down to 1 HP in an MP charge rampage, then he managed to do the same to me (thank god for once more). He summoned some dark orbs and I went in for the kill. While the game was preforming the whole slow-motion victory bit I got hit with the darkorbs. The cutscene preformed as normal but when gameplay reesumed it instantly sent me to the Load/Continue screen.

LOL Maybe you died then cutscene continued as normal but you had no hp left
Maybe because when you die and cutscenes continue you still die

This made me confused a bit, but that was pretty cool.....

 

A tie is worse than a loss, but in your case it was both. For shame! ;D

I kid, that is most unusual. I've never seen that before.

Yeah, that sucks to get so close and then find out it made you lose any way even after watching the sequence. I suppose the chances of finding such a glitch is so rare because we cannot hope to do such a thing on purpose. What a bummer though to make it that far and then find out you died any way.

 

Very unlucky for that to happen, cant say ive heard of that happening before

 

Damn, that's cool, imagine if that was your first time to get that close though. I would be PISSED!

 

That's so confusing, it sounds like you should have won. Sephiroth must be cheating xD

Jeez, Sephiroth knows when to give out cheap shots...

But it's not uncommon. The same thing happened against me and Cloud in the Colosseum.

 

That's just Nomura's sick way of torturing us: Make Sephiroth as hard as can be, and just when victory is within your grasp, he snatches it away.

hey that happend to me once. it was really weird. and then i accidently his Load so i had to pwn sephiroth again
