Not that it's much better over here xD The UK is one of the most surveillanced countries in the world, with an extreme number of CCTV cameras (there was a ratio between cameras and people but I can't remember >_>)

Besides the unneeded Bush hateing, why can't we blame the people actually responsible? Not the Republicans, not the Democrats, why can't we blame the corrupt Rebulicans and the corrupt Democrats FOR ONCE!

According to the standards of the United States of America, the President doesn't make the laws and neither can his adminstartion. It's the Generally corrupted Democratic Congress that makes the laws. I'm sure there must be a honest Democrat in Congress somehwhere, but obviously the uncorrupted are always out-voted.

Según los estándares de los Estados Unidos de América, el presidente no hace las leyes y ni uno ni otro puede su adminstartion. Es el congreso Democratic generalmente corrompido que hace las leyes. Congress, the body that is supposed to be either representing or doing what's best for the people is doing neither. It's hard to believe there once was a time when this government was by, for and of the people. You are correct in that assumption. Bush will occasionally translate his own speeches into Spannish while he speaks, as did John Kerry's wife during Kerry's almost rise to Tyrancy...I mean...Presidency... The difference is: Bush speaks it to extend out to a minority group, Teresa Heinz Kerry( Yes, she married the Ketchup Heir and then the same Ketchup Heir became a Republican Senetor and served so honrably, until his mysterious death in a plane crash, therefor giving the vast table condiment fortune to Teresa) used it for Latin-Women empowerment less tactfully, and Obama wants every American to learn the language.

Quite personally, I have no problamo with Learning Spannish, I think it's a great language. But then what happens? We're also supposed to be learning Madrinese(Sp?) which leaves no time for the rest of to learn the language of our own ancestors, such as I have put off learning Italian to learn Spannish now.

Also, as a footnote, Mai'kel, stop with the "Get over it/Get over the changing times" Bull, por favor. It's not changing times, it's changed times, past tense. And I'm not a stubborn person stuck in the past, contrare to what you are saying.

I'll take that as a joke since that cannot ever happen, due to the fact of check and balance, and the fact Congress has been demeaning Bush for the past years of his hopefully remembered truthfully, not in the way we see it, blinded, so it's unlikely on the highest degree.

Look at this bill, though. It gives the Feds the power to circumvent the 4th Amendment. Although Darkwatch was kidding, if the government can do this, what's to stop them (besides us) from overriding the entire Constitution?

 

Congress passed a billl last august handing Bush dictatorial powers in time of a crisis (much like 9/11).

He essentially takes over all 3 branches of government and does things his own way.
