    Soooo...

Anyone know where I can sell a 2-year old 20GB PS3 that's in great condition for more then $200?

I tried Gamestop, and they said it wouldn't be worth more then 200. Which is rather unfair I'd have to say. The PS3 is great, it's just frustrating that I have such an outdated version which cost more when I bought it then the latest version of PS3's in production do now. I mean they don't even make the 20GB PS3's anymore.

Better yet, anyone know where I can trade the thing in for a more up-to-date version?

The thing cost my $500 though. Which is why such a low price really seems like a rip-off to me. Hence why I stormed out of Gamestop.

Try a sony center. They are alot more reasonable than you'd think. My PS3 broke and they were nice enough to give me a replacement.

No one is going to buy a second hand older model for 500 when they could get a newer one for 400.

You definately won't be able to regain your lost 500, so just sell it to me for 200.

Though it sucks, no one is going to replace what you paid for it or probably spend more than 200 bucks for the PS3 you have. It's used, which automatically would drop the price, plus it is only 20 GB. You could try the Sony store as suggested or try luck on Ebay. Other than that, I can't think of anywhere that would give you more than 200 bucks for it and in a way you probably were fortunate the place said 200 bucks and not less. The store wouldn't make a real profit at all if they took a used 20 GB for more than 200 bucks and tried to sell it. The most they could sell it for is 300 bucks so it's not going to give them any real gain to give you more for it.

You should go for daxma's suggestion. If not, try ebay like Repliku said.

If you bought it for $500 two years ago...*calculates* I would say for you to sell it for $325 and go down from there. Hows the condition of it?
