Secuirty Systems are EVIL!

I just triggered my security system by dropping a plate on the floor. Stupid glass-shatter detectors...

This proves the fact that I'm ******ed.

Does anybody else hate theirs, or is it just me?

Take my advice and don't get one.

 

My aunt has one at her beach house, but it goes off even if a moth lands on the window. xD

 

The cops would come round & arrest the moth for attempted breaking & entering.

 

... more like get a fine for the false alarm. I don't think she even uses it anymore.

 

I HATE security systems. My house use to have one, but it got triggered everytime I just started climbing the stairs! How stupid is that.

Then, a security system at some store got triggered because of my sister's little flashlight. 0.o

 

I haven't seen many security systems where i live. It's a rural area so if someone broke into a house all the neighbours would know. But there is one across the street & it likes to go off early in the morning sometimes.

Seriously, those things are way too sensitive.

 

Yeah, they're weird. I'm lucky that the Police around here are nice and know how to turn the dang thing off.

Mine's kinda new...ish...so I was crying like a baby because I couldn't turn it off when the security company came on the loudspeaker. How embarassing!

...That moth will get life in prison, I'm sure.

Mine's pretty niftay, though. It welcomes me when I come in and can tell my sis where I am...all thanks to a kewlio little bracelet that I'll probably lose before long. -.-

 

That thing sounds really cool, if it didn't go off ever now & then.

 

Cool? No. Stalkery? Totally.

I find it very annoying and obnoxious...especially the random beeps every half hour to remind you that it's on.

EDIT: My sis just opened a door and it went off again. T.T

 

Mmm, haven't had experiences with security systems. xD
But I did have an experience with those detectors that turn on the lights once >.>


On a camping trip, there was a compound near our spot that had the same detectors...and there are lots of cats....
Understand what I'm saying?

 

Dear God...I bet you were up all night trying to ignore the lights.
