Traditional Art second drawing....emo sora!how is it?

i tried a heck of a lot harder!please excuse the hands and arms and eraser marks ^-^

yeah,i rushed on this one...plus i did it in a car so it is sloppy.i dont realy like it either :P

yeah...like darksmile said, his head is kinda flat. spike it up a bit. and no offense, but whats with the middle of his shirt? it kinda reminds me of a pine tree, with the middle points sticking out. but other than that, its pretty good.

 

Oh, don't forget to work on your proportions. That's one of the heaviest impacts on your drawing. No proportion = Broken outcome

I suggest drawing a sort of outline of his body first until it's in a good shape, then do his clothes. He kinda looks like a slanted tree, no offense. D:

The head's a little odd,but still good!! Take your time when you draw,or maybe be hyper..I don't know..Just keep trying,and you'll get really great at it!!

 

Very true!
Being a fellow artist, I just wanted to give a few tips.
The upper part of the leg (Before the knee) and the lower part of the leg (Below the knee) are of equal length, and both match the length of the torso.

The head 's length should be about the same length of the foot. Exept on Sora, who has huge feet.

The elbow is just above the waist, and the fingertip is a few inches before the knee.

you should be able to fit two heads atop the shoulders

When drawing hair, remember the size of the head.(This happens to me sometimes)

not a lot of this applies to your drawing, mainly just the hair part.

Some constructive critisism:
The head's too small, and the neck's a bit too long. The shirt should'nt stick out That much. But other than that,this is awesome!

This was pretty good considering you were in a hurry, but I have to give a few pointers.

The head was just a little bit too small, either that or the neck is too big widthwise and heighthwise.

His shoes kinda have to grasp around his ankles, too.

Don't worry about the hands, hands and feet are like the most difficult things to draw, (i haven't even mastered them yet) but if you keep on working on them, you'll get better.

Also, your drawing is a little bit slanted, try and make it a bit more straight. If you have to, you can probably use a ruler to make sure your character has good posture.

Try to make it so that everything is proportionate (well, except for sora's hands and feet, they're pretty big, lol). But on other characters you draw, try and make them proportionate to one another.

Also, try getting a picture of the thing you're trying to draw, whether it's Sora or any other character, and try and copy it down, try and add your own little thing to it. If you try that, then probably when you try and create your own characters, everything might turn out right. That's what I do with some of my drawings, I copy down characters, and try and do my own little thing to it. Then I create my own character.


That's about all that I can think of, all of the rest has been said already by others. Good drawing though. I'll give it an 8/10.

 

That was kinda out of proportion. It looks like Sora is just really ill and hasn't been eating for maybe months.

I don't mean to be mean but Sora's fingers look like little sticks.

Sorry to say this but this drawing it's pretty bad. Continue practice! And remember, more details!

Oh yes, i forgot about that. You should look at a picture when you draw. Then you would be able to see how's each characters body. It helps. Oh and this should be in the art and graphics section i think.
