SEC bans social media.

    It's one thing for athletes to do this, which is understandable given that they have a game to focus on...but to basically inform fans that they can't do anything but sit there and watch a game...it's a form of censoring the first amendment.

    I think that this is complete stupidity. Example of why fans should be allowed to do this: I was sick during the Utah vs Oregon State game last season. I wasn't in the mood to watch the game. I check facebook and all my friends are at the game updating their status about how freaking insane the game was. I turn it on and wig out. If this was banned within the MWC, i wouldn't have known about it till after the game and would have missed an amazing 4th quarter rally.
