Does anybody else play certain video games based on what season it is? I do this with some games like Super Mario Sunshine and Kingdom Hearts 2. I tend to play these games more in the Summer than any other season because I originally got them in the Summer time, and playing them brings back memories :) Then in the winter I tend to play more shooter games like Fallout for some reason... oh and Pheonix Wright XD
Um... the only game I play seasonally is I only play Harvest Moon in the winter. I tend to play Zelda and Pikmin a lot during the summer though.
Well, not really. Quote frankly, i've never heard of playing a game seasonally. I do play some games sometimes to reminisce on my childhood though. I still play Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland (GBA) and Pokemon Gold (GBC) on occasion.

Always. I will always go back to Kingdom hearts 2 in October because I got it for my 12th birthday in October and that was the year my life changed because of that game. It just brings back so many good memories! I then will always play Kingdom hearts I or Crash tag teram racing at Christmas as they are games I've got at Christmas and they are immense. During the summer it's usually Tekken since I spent a whole summer playing it once, I must have had no life O.o It was great fun though. These games I will usually play when I feel like it but these are the main ones. Well, I will tend to play Final Fantasy Dissidia around November time since that was when the first one came out but really it's any time throughout the year.
Seasonal playing? I've never heard of someone doing that... But no, I don't. I play all kinds of games in one day, let alone the seasons.
I never thought of playing any games "seasonally" before. I guess you could say I definitely play more DS and GB/GBA games in the winter since it's a lot easier to take them downstairs, snuggle in front the fireplace with a cup of tea and play a few rounds of...something. Sometimes summer too, I'll take them outside while lounging in the gazebo or something.
Im def not a seasonal gamer but since i have more time in the summer than i do any other time i still get that same sence of nastalga when i played kh when i was in the 7th grade gosh seems like such a long time ago.
I usually play games depending on how i am feeling. If im bored I'll play modern warfare, if im happy I'll play modnation racers, if i'm feeling competitive i'll play Fifa 11 etc... I'm not much of a 'seasonal gamer'
