It's sorta pointless if you ask me.People should be able to copy down their homework.Responsibility much..?<3

    ~Not asking for the websites.I'm no stalker~

Do you think there is any good thing? I mean, it's annoying, you could just call a friend..
Then all the teachers go: "You could've checked the website."
    It's like I don't know what it is F*****.

    www.School.com?

I have one of those for my school. It is annoying to me, lol. I would much rather get the teacher tell me what I missed then me look on a website anyway, sure, I mean teachers can have a web page and stuff, but there really is no point in posting the homework especially if you do not know how to do the stuff that was assigned anyway. All of this said to be when some is absent, I guess you could say.

My college has a website but it's mainly for visitors but i can access the college intranet from there. There i can get lecture notes (only one teacher uses it. >_>;) if i miss the class. Handy for that one class. I wish the other classes had some form on notes up. It's a bit of a nonsense havin' to ask for all the notes that were taken in that class.

We have one, but the teachers don't ever put the assignment up, so we have to write it down anyway. What's REALLY annoying is when they put the worksheet/reading/whatever on the site so you have to download it and print it the next day to turn it in (Because the teachers need a "hard copy"). WTF? My printer doesn't work and I have to go to the damn school library, almost be late for class, AND pay to print it. Why couldn't they have just passed it out in class? Also, what about the people who have no internet? Huh? There has been many occasions when I couldn't do my homework because either my net's been dead or I'm grounded from the comp! And my mom wont take "I have to get my homework" as an excuse.

Sorry, got a bit rant-y there.

Edit~ Oh and some teachers NEVER update there site. Like my A&P class. Last updated: Oct 3? WTF?

I find them quite handy, actually. A lot of the teachers in my school don't really bother, but when some do it really helps. Say for example I'm out sick, I can just print the sheets we got that day, find out what the homework assignments are, etc. Also, some of the teachers have useful links, like websites to help study/reinforce concepts, and even online textbooks. [I know that I have been reading Great Expectations online since I lost my book]

Schooling is becoming more and more computerized -- in fact, my school is working on completely digitalizing homework, so we don't even need to bring sheets one. We just log on to the website and do our assignments there. of course it wouldn't work for all students/assignments, but it's just stepping into the future of schooling. Think about how shopping is now becoming more and more common to do online. the same thing is happening with school.

... wow I feel like Repliku lol.

For me? Yeah. They keep calenders on there which can be changed quite often and also have important info for 8th grades like Griffin For A Day and such... They also have a website just for homework.
