School Shootings

We all know about school shootings don't we? People get pissed off, maybe from domestic problems,or someone you care about turned against you. Or maybe even died and you can't handle the fact that their gone. But the most common thing is people want revenge.


But in the end. They kill themselves.

Disscuss, if a thread like this has been made already, let me know.

 

I think that school shootings are ver childish and immature. There is no reason for people to get mad and go kill someone, I hope that everone who has ever had an idea of killing someone in a shooting to go seek some psychological help and stay away from a gun...

 

Like said in my other thread.Some people's parents have guns.9/10 it's the father's gun.Or..maybe they work with the police and the keep the gun in the closet or somewhere.So,people really don't know what to do with themselves.

 

My dad has guns locked away in a bullet proof safe *Irony* but i would never take them and go kill someone, first off, he would either kill me before i could get out of the door. Second, i have some high moral standards and i could never take the life of a fellow man/woman. (well unless, it was a hostile alien with human DNA and it was trying to wipe out humanity, then we would have to talk about that...lol).

 

Now from the life I've lived so far, I see that some people need to be shot not killed but shot as a warning.(I mean Bullies) They think that It's ok to pick on people just so they can have fun. I can't count how many times I've thought about murdering someone right in the middle of class. The only thing that kept me from doing it was that I didn't have and was never able to get the weapons needed to carry out the plans. But looking back now, I'm glad I didn't do it.

 

I agree, I have thought about it once or twice but not a big enough feeling to keep it in my head...

 

Well, here in Finland both of the school shootings were caused by bullying. I don't know if any other one has been caused by it but it seems like the only reason for a young man to go shooting in his own school.

 

It wouldn't be ok to shoot some defenceless bully but it would help me sleep at night.

 

I wouldn't mind it as long as I don't shoot them, I don't care what happens to bullies as long as they are nice to me or my friends I will be nice to anyone... But that one slip up..... And bang.... Your shot....LOL

 

I don't quite understand how the shooters can rack up such a low kill count (I mean, they've got a gun in a school of around 1000 students. Surely they should do worse than 10 casualties?). I don't know much about guns, but why not go for a machine gun and do it in an assembly? It would be far more chaotic to do it there than anywhere else.

I don't know.... Maybe their concience is getting in the way even though they want to kill a lot of people, deep down in their heart of hearts, they don't want to kill anyone but are just very very mad?

 

But once they kill one person, their life is over.

 

That is why i love CSI, because of the episodes why there is a school shooting or a bombing and the kids either get caught or kill someone and they go and kill themselves, but usually the people who are shot usually live or are wounded severly, i love those episodes.....

 

School shootings are truly one of the most pointless things on earth.

What I think when I hear about a shooting is, "If you really want to go f*ck up your life, go do it privately. Don't involve the rest of us".

I mean, if someone really wants to suicide, I mean really - nothing on earth will dissuade them, (first I say get help and don't, of course), I say that they should keep it to themselves. I'm pretty sure that no victim of a school shooting wants to die.

 

What is the point of killing a mass amount of people? I mean if you believe that you are going to go heaven for doing it, then just go kill yourself and not innocent people... I think that they do it because they want to leave this world with an "Awsome" preformance...
