Birth by Sleep Saix referring to Ventus? in days?

SPOLIER ALERT FOR DAYS!. AND BBS

Well watching this cutscene in days was ofcourse very simple, did he want a real friendship with roxas, or a fake one with Xion due to her being a puppet.

HOWEVER, after we all have played BBS and seen this cutscene here.

one could question if Saix was refuring to the fact that Xion was a puppet AND/OR, Ventus as Axels friendship had formed with him long before anyone was a nobody and thus making it real.

Interesting...I was thinking of this scene too while playing BBS, though I believe he was talking about Axel's friendship with him rather than Roxas. (He referred to him as his true name). Also Saix did not care much for either Roxas or Xion in 358/2 days so he forced Axel to basically choose one over another... Personally I don't think Ven became friends with Lea or Isa, just by meeting them because after that scene in BBS; they go into the castle and basically give up their hearts to become one of Ansem's expirements.

 

It depends really how you look at it, Lea and Isa did meet with Ven and Lea fought him in cutscene and offscreen, but Lea did say they were friends after that so when Lea became Axel, his Nobody probably felt a familar feeling when meeting Roxas.

There is also the chance that after becoming a Nobody, they've forgotten who they originally are as well as Ven.

 

id say thats not the case, sense Xigbar Remembers Ventus when fighting Xion, " there are those eyes looking down on me again , god i hate those eyes" or something like that he says witch i say confirm they remember there orignal selfs, "well expet for Xemans ofcourse"

 

Well, Xigbar retained his memoires if you also recall he calls Sora he wasn't half the hero the others were but this thread is talking about Saix refering to Ventus, not Xigbar.

 

But why would they forget who they were? Besides, Saix remembered Axel's real name, so they obviously didn't forget.

 

DUDE! those scenes dont have... really anything to do with Axel and Siax's talk! Ven is Ven not taking the place of Roxas in this story... and lets not forget... bbs came after Days, not grant it, Siax does call Axel, Lea. But in that conversation he had, with Axel, wasn't about bbs' storyline. (in my opinion)

 

Saix probably didn't forget about his true self(Like you pointed out, though. They were very close friends..)
I think by the time Axel met Roxas. Axel probably forgot all about Ven.
