So how many of our Kh-vids users got a nice pinch yesterday for not wearing green? And if so just where did we all get pinched? -Waggles eyebrows- ;)
I didn't go out, so I didn't get pinched either way. You don't want to try pinching me anyways, since I tend to reflexively grab the person's wrist and twist it.
Because touching people without their permission is totes excused because of some stupid holiday. i don't like people touching me. My work apron happens to be green. So I was safe.
Obviously, there's consent issues. If people look to be minding their own, like I was, please don't pinch them- if you don't know them, you should definitely ask first and obey their wishes period LUCKILY I'M EASY GOING AND PEOPLE WHO DID GAVE ME TIPS SO YA KNOW I WAS COOL WITH IT I'm a whore
I didn't even know it was St. Patrick's day until half way through the day. I guess it's a good thing I'm always wearing Green Bay merch.
Pretty sure the whole "pinch people who don't wear green on st. patricks day" is an American thing. Never heard of it over here anyway.
I wear green everyday because my jacket is green. And St Patrick is my saint. But all we do here is drink beer. People don' t go crazy on the green, and that pinching thing is complete news to me.
i don't know what the reason behind pinching is it's not as big here as people make it seem. in fact, everyone here kinda hates everyone else and wants as little contact as possible, so unless it's family or very close friends you're basically guaranteed to not get pinched. atp the holiday is only celebrated as an excuse to sell green things and visit the nearest Irish-restaurant and go berserk. there's literally no discussion about what it's for.
It' s purely commercial here as well, but it' s pretty tame. It' s not like we desperately needed a special day to go drink beers with friends.
Don't talk like that. You're a beautiful and wonderful person who just happens to get pinched a lot. The way you're degrading yourself here just shows how much we need pinch positivity in the world.
