First sig I've made in ages. Please point out anything that you don't like; pull no punches. It'd also be nice to get some suggestions as to what to do with the right side.

 

I'm liking V2 more than one simply because it's got a little more going on. The left side is pretty gorgeous, and I really like the flow that you've got going. On the downside, the colors are a bit bland and some dodging&burning could work wonders.

As for the right side, try some text? I'm not sure.
