During the last portion of KHII, Xemnas gives Saïx permission to "end [his] charade." What exactly was Saïx referring to? He never showed split loyalties, as far as I could tell. What am I missing?

I'm not really sure but I think he maybe meant something related to Kingdom Hearts since it was so close to being compleated? :/ I didn't really pay attention. He could also be refering to Sora possibly?

Perhaps Xemnas was referring to Sora, Donald, and Goofy.

In general, the line never made any sense. It's one of those lines that turns all the answers into guesswork again. I think the line has a purpose, but it, nevertheless, it just simply doesn't fit the context.

No...I think the line does have a purpose, Xemnas was referring to Sora, Donald, and Goofy.

Charade: an absurdly false or pointless act or situation.

Saix probably thought not "finishing Sora off" an absurdly pointless act.
    That's what i think, anyway.

Ah, now I see. I thought he was using "charade" in the form of "a false representation." Even my friends were asking the exact same question. We were all confused by the line.

Personally, I think it was a poor choice of words. After all, this is Kingdom Hearts! Throughout KHII, the theme of dissenting Organization XIII members is a clear theme.

Lol. It was a poor choice of vocabulary.

But that's Orgy XIII for ya!

I always assumed that he was referring to playing with Sora's head. Because after that, Saix fought Sora instead of playing mind games with him.

Yea, probably finish off Sora and gang...though I dunno how he could manage a 5 on 1 but that's aside from the point.

Saix probably felt that Sora running around trying to stop them was futile, therefore pointless. By "ending the charade", he probably meant getting rid of Sora.

I interpretted (ZOMG I THINK I SPELT IT WRONG) it as Saix ditching his calm disposition to reveal is savage nature towards Sora and the gang.

Well...when we first see Saix after Axel goes off running. Saix appears absurdly calm and even bothers to tell Sora where Kairi is in the castle. A Berserker telling the enemy where the hostage is? Absurd. But then again, Saix enjoys playing with Sora's head.

Sora does play into Xemnas' and the Organization's hands by supplying hearts to them...which Saix also tells Sora he's been doing all along.

So when Xemnas tells Saix that he can end the charade. I always thought that Xemnas was subtlety giving Saix permission to destroy Sora now that he was no longer needed to collect hearts.

Just my thoughts on the line.

That was really...good. I've never thought of that, but yeah, I think that you just specifically said what Xemnas meant.

Obviously they weir referring to sora, donald and goofy. By "charade" they ment acts. So in other words, "Finish their acts".

The charade was threating Sora as if he was cared for by the Organisation. Treating him as if he wasn't expendable.then when xemnas said "end this Charade" kingdom hearts was completed sora wasn't needed.
