Birth by Sleep Rumor -Possible Spoiler-

did anyone notice the outfit the guy with the helmit is wearing looks alot like rikus dark outfit

 

Yeah it sorta does, but i dont really kno if it has anything to do with the guy in the helmet, i cant remember back to KH1 but was Riku anybodies apprentice that could possibly have a similarity because the guy in the helmet is supposedly Master Xehanhorts apprentice, i dont really count this as a spoiler just speculation

 

Urm.........EVERYONE KNEW THAT! Sorry, just felt that had to be said.

Anyways, I wonder why...

 

The dark figure in the suit was probably Master Xehanort's apprentice. And he may have been overcome with darkness:

Elderly man (Xehanort): "The person who has been tied to the darkness doesn't have the qualification to use the keyblade."

Elderly man (Xehanort): "The man is a demon who has already been tied to the darkness."

Elderly man: "Please, I ask of you to correct my mistake!"​

If we go with the theory that Master Xehanort took over Terra's body, and Terra became the second Xehanort/Ansem, then maybe Riku is given this suit to symbolize that he is becoming overcome with the darkness. And perhaps it also means that he was 'like an apprentice' to Ansem.

 

Yeah, I don't think Riku himself has anything to do with the past stuff. He just seemed to inherit things Maleficent gave to him such as Soul Eater which turns into Way to the Dawn later, and possibly was a Keyblade all along in dormancy after the Keybladers disappeared, and the funky armor. They symbol on the armor was a design on all of the Emblem Heartless which Xehanort made, which would claim Riku as a sort of property of Xehanort when he changed to that. Maleficent called him her apprentice, but of course, in the end it was Xehanort's Heartless that planned to use Riku as a vessel pretty much all along. (as he may have used Terra). The theory seems pretty sound to me. Whoever the guy in the past is in the similar suit, it more than likely is an apprentice of Master Xehanort.

it did look like the costume. i wonder if and how the 2 woud be conected.

 

It's probably just a symbolic similarity. I do have another theory, but I haven't put it together enough to show it.
