Welcome to the General Discussion area. We hope you enjoy chatting here but of course there are a few rules to know before getting started. We'll keep it brief! This area was formerly known as 'Anything Else'. The same rules from before apply now but this is a cleaned up and shortened version.

    1. At least six words per post. Shorter posts will be deleted.

    2. No spam permitted.
    * Spam posts under topics that are not considered spam will be deleted.
    * If the first post of the topic is spam, it will be moved to the Spam Zone with a link that will last for one day as the poster may not have realized it was considered Spam Zone worthy. Repeating the habit however will result in posts being deleted and a warning.

    3. Stay on the topic. If you notice your post is going severely off topic, consider making a new thread for the new issue.

    4. Search for the topic before you post
    * Use the search function or check at least the first and second page for like topics to what you want to bring up. If there is a topic related to a new thread that already exists, the new thread will be closed. Posts to it -may- or may not be merged to the older thread.

    5. The difference between Spam and General Discussion Make intelligent posts with some thought to them. You don't have to be the greatest speller or be perfect at grammar but no text talk here unless it is pertinent to the conversation. Save that for the Spam Zone. :)
General Discussion Question: What do you think of Chuck Norris. I think he's cool but was curious about what others thought.
Spam Question: Chuck Norris kix @ss, Right?!

General Discussion Response: Chuck Norris is pretty cool. I admire him because he's a great martial artist and also a decent person.
Spam Response: ”Hai peepz, i leik chuck norries becauze he pwns

    6. General Rules for the forums will be followed here.
*No obvious spam topics to earn cheap posts. No topics against the general rules of the board.

    7.In forum events/holidays
Please, there is no need for 5 topics about Christmas or thanksgiving etc, etc. One is enough.

    8. Ensure the post goes here.
Some new sections have opened up and you may want to check around the Forums before just posting a topic here to see if it might get better feedback elsewhere.

    9. Post Your Picture Here Area
This thread is open so that any members who want to share some pictures of themselves can do so. However, this is NOT a spam section. If spam is found, it will be deleted, no questions asked, and repeat offenders who spam often will receive warnings because otherwise the only solution to resolving the issue is to move the thread to the Spam Zone.
    * This would upset members greatly to have done because quite a few of us -do- follow the rules regarding keeping spam out and I do, as well as many others, feel that contributors to the area should receive points for posts. So consider whose rights you take away if we have to move the thread because we can't police it all of the time deleting 20 some posts. Please make sure this thread is read because I know many of you enjoy the picture area being here and the staff and I personally want to see it remain here. Pass this news around amongst each other if you have to. Just let's keep that area nice and free of spam, because that only goes good with eggs or belongs in the Spam Zone.

    RvR note:
The purpose of the Anything Else section is to discuss topics that have a meaningful subject that will not cause spam in any way. Also, the subject must not fit into another section of the forum. If you decide to create a thread here, you have fully understood the purpose of this section and realized it is not a place for spam or pointless topics. Please keep this in mind and there will be no further conflicts as a result.

    All the Best

    - KHV Staff
