Roxas's True Love ???

Hey guys, hope your doing great...

Just joined the forum... crazy KH fan... but totally forgot about it up until now.. been watching all the videos on YouTube and after hearing "dearly beloved" again it totally changed me..

But the 1 question i wanted to ask is.. who is Roxas's true Love ??
I mean should it not be Xion... and why is Namine in love with Roxas... and does he also love her???

Anyway, I think it's difficult to argue any character's "true" love. I think the only relationship we've gotten any kind of romantic implication from is Sora and Kairi, and even then, it's been rather innocent stuff.

However, in Chain of Memories (correct me if I'm wrong, been a while since I played!), Naminé says that Kairi is the person most important to Sora. Naminé, because memories are stored within the heart in the Kingdom Hearts universe, has seen inside Sora's heart, so I think her statement there is pretty credible. By extension, Roxas should have similar feelings, as he is an incarnate of Sora (he has his own thoughts and feelings, but they are deeply connected to Sora's, and vice versa). Xion, born in the image of Kairi, would of have some sort of natural connection to Roxas; Naminé as well.

I think declaring who Roxas "loves" hinges on whether or not you think the Sora/Kairi relationship is canon. If it is, then I'd like to think that anyone with the image, heart, etc. to Kairi would be important to Roxas.

However, this post will probably make me unpopular with Akuroku shippers... lol

 

I dont see anyone loving anyone. If anything Sora and Kairi have a really good friendship. Riku and Kairi are Soras closest friends. They grew up together. Roxas from the looks of it has more important things to deal with. Mainly his friends with Axel and Xion.

 

Naminé showed a lot more love towards Riku in Chain of Memories (IMO) , a shame that wasn't depper developed, It would be kind interesting if both friends got one "Kairi" for themselves lol.
I think Naminé only didn't want Roxas to be sad and lost, so she came in his aid.. but they sure were an strange couple that don't have anything in common other than the fact that they were nobodies.
Roxas was in love with Xion, because Xion was the memories of Sora's love towards Kairi, so his capacity to love was Xion, and they belong together. When she became one with Roxas, he lost her, but attained the "power of loving" again, that tie was what remade Oathkeeper, so his ties were true even if forgoten or lost.

what do u mean by she became one with roxas... or do u mean sora??

 

So THIS is what I think.


First off, if you look in Days, Roxas REALLY cares about Xion. Then, when you play KH2, did anybody else hear the way he said "Hi" to Namine?
But that was when he didn't have his memories. Sooooo...yeah. I'd expect, if it was going to happen, Roxas X Xion would happen. But that's just me.



And that brings up another point. I don't know what the reason for this has been (seeing as the Final Fantasy games have romance in them) but Kingdom Hearts just hasn't had romance since...KH2. I don't know. I mean, they're all friends, but I don't know if they're really gonna do anything with even Sora and Kairi, THE MOST OBVIOUS COUPLE OF THE TWO!!!!! However, if nothing else, in an epilogue or something, Sora and Kairi are married. Nothing more to it. BUUUUT I could be wrong. Nomura could just have all of this up his sleeve.


But that is a good question. I'm still for Rokushi all the way.

Yes, as I stated before Xion Joined Roxas (And sora got her too, when he got Roxas), that's why he's able to double wield (you need 2 hearts to do it). Maybe if Roxas didn't "Absorved" Xion Sora wouldn't need to "fuse" with Roxas, as he went sleeping to recover "The memories of Kairi" that took the form of Xion, If Xion had gone straight to Sora, maybe Roxas could be spared.

 

thats right .... better Xion joined with Sora and not with Roxas ... but how did u know she fused with Roxas??
It wasn't obvious , is it in the cut-scene when she fades away or later??

 

Actually it's more like a build up some scenes before showed Roxas losing power, because Xion is taking it, so by Xion's defeat, Roxas got his powers back plus Xion's

 

Does Roxas have to love somebody ? To be honest I believe that he only sees Axel, Xion, Sora and Namine as good and close friends. Plus he hardly understands the concept of love as Axel had to explain it to him.

 

Actually I don't see any love in the game at all except for the usual prince and princess thing or things like that, but among the main characters it's just mostly friendship.

 

I think it's Xion. He's only seen Namine once, I believe, and I don't think a year = a dream, so yeah.

 

I don't really understand "RokuNami" since Roxas has only met Namine once, and Roxas has been friends with Xion for almost a year. So, yeah, I reckon it's Xion.

But if you think about it Roxas and Xion were both made from Sora, so it's like they're siblings so it's kinda like incest. I guess that's why people ship RokuNami.

 

I don't know about that. I mean, sure, they are kind of one and the same, but they each had different experiences, and I'm almost positive that Roxas cares about her a great deal.

in DDD, when Sora saw Xion, a tear dropped even though he had no idea who she was, meaning Roxas cried.

So, I'm guessing, if it was true that it was more like a sibling situation, Roxas still LOVES Xion, but like Aqua loves Ventus (you know, like a brother-sister thing.) I would also have to guess that Roxas and Namine get together just because Roxas totally has a crush on Namine is KH2 (if you listen to the way he say's hi to her you'll know what I mean.) But, she is an imperfect replica of Roxas. And they have their differences. Like Riku and Riku Replica, in a sense.



Also, what does Ship mean? Like when people say Ship RokuShi or something like that.

 

A ship is a couple you want to get together. So, if I want Axel and Marluxia to get together, they are my "ship"; it can also be used as a verb, i.e. "I ship them."
