Kingdom Hearts II ?Roxas and Namine?

ok i know that there will be some people who disagree(Axel fans) but Namine and Roxas are meant to be together and i don't care what u have to say
Namine is a very helpful person in Roxas's life, as Roxas anyway
as soon as he turns into Sora..........u don't really hear from her
that only proves she cares for Roxas though!
and like how about at the end of KH2?
when Kairi reaches out her hand to Sora and they look at each other and turn into their Nobodies?
Roxas just looks at Namine and she gives a little giggle....?
it's soo cute it has to be love rite?

 

Namine is a person that kind of I don't know if she'd get with Roxas or not. She really seemed to dig Sora a lot in CoM. She even was very upset he chose to have the memories of his friends and life before than the one with her and Castle Oblivion, though she did comply with the wish of course, understanding. She cared for Sora a lot. So had she remained and all, she might have tried to get with him, which would have been an interesting love triangle with Sora, Kairi and Namine heh. I think she cared about Roxas too, but it seemed more friendship to me. Of course, that doesn't mean it could not have changed. It seemed clear though that she had a lot of feelings in CoM for Sora and well, didn't really give much of a crap about Riku or Riku Replica. She didn't even apologize to Riku Replica for messing him up but made sure to do so to Sora. She also didn't apologize to Riku at all that I recall, even though she helped him with Zexion at one point. Namine was sort of complex in a way.

However, on the same note, I also don't see that Axel and Roxas cared for each other but as good friends. If Namine and Roxas had hung out, I'd say there was a pretty good chance they might have gotten together and well, I guess if Sora and Kairi do, they do too. I just think her feelings though were more strong for Sora actually than Roxas when it comes down to it. After all, she totally even lured Sora there to the Castle Oblivion so she wouldn't be alone and Marluxia found out and used her to finish the job.

 

Of course Roxas and Namine are meant for each other. Namine wouldn't have bothered to try and save him during the prologue if she didn't care about him.

Sora and Kairi are destined to be together as well. If Kairi was meant for Riku, then she wouldn't have bothered in trying to remember Sora. And since Sora & Kairi are going to match up, Roxas & Namine are going to have to anyways.

 

I don't much like the idea of Namine and Roxas being together. I suppose it's considered canon, but it's never really appealed to me. :P There's tons of evidence behind it though.

...I'm going to stick by my original theory and say that all Kingdom Hearts pairings are canon. XD It's safer that way...

 

I LOVE Roxas and Naminé, more than Sora and Kairi, even, despite my sig of them being in the middle (it's more of the fact that they're the main two of the trio. Maybe I should change it). In my opinion, Roxas is more complicated than Sora, more interesting, he even has greater flaws...I don't know, I just like the fact that he's not always optimistic and childish, seems to have a brain to actually think about what's happening around him.

Naminé...is flawed (is it possible for Kairi's Nobody to have the faults that makes a character go in-depth? Yes, it is, which makes her so much more likeable to me), not that much, mind you (unlike Larxene, where in my opinion, if they ever bothered to go more into her character, you'll find ideas of her being complex), is opting only for the loneliness, she was selfish in wanting someone for her own, and altering the memories so she can have her hero, someone to love her like Kairi has (I think she found it with Roxas).

I do agree that she was digging Sora alot in CoM, cared about him, I don't know how anyone could deny that, but in KH2 I think she considers him like a friend (definitely didn't get the vibes, hell, she even spoke past Sora at Roxas, not paying so much attention to the spiky brunette), and is now more partial to Roxas in the end. The fact that she says all happily to the blond, "We'll be together again!", says a lot. Then there was the hand grabbing (which alot of Clerith fans compared to that of FF7: AC).

Even Roxas was gazing at her in the way you would look at someone you like. Can't ever forget the CGI ending where through their others, they smile to each other as well :3.

 

Okay, well, I'm an akuroku shipper (haha) but I really do like Roxas and Namine together as my other cool pairing. I think they're cute.

and obtw, I cry every single time I watch the ending vid for KH2. It's only because of that one part when it's Roxas and Namine looking back at each other. I have a strange emotional bond to Roxas for some reason. :)

 

Meh. Namine wanted Sora. She got half. I think that was fair enough.

Also Repliku, I think she might only have reactions to Sora and his heart, not anyone else (apart from Roxas, as my theory is that Roxas has a link to Sora's heart, no more). So she helped DiZ, but really she did not care about Riku, and Repliku she just ignored. Certainly I would be a bit interested if I were a heart manipulator and someone who should be dead and heartess came to protect me, while she just stayed with her gaze set on Sora.

Nnnn.... I don't really care about RoxasxNamine. I think it's cute, but I just don't really care about it. I didn't really see that Roxas cared about her much.

Roxas and Namine didn't know each other for long. (Namine stopped time in the virtual Twilight Town just to meet him, right?) Namine wanted to help him, and Roxas was grateful for her help, but there were other things to worry about and Roxas wasn't interested in her, then. And then Roxas met Sora, and that was the end of that. Namine didn't meet him again until the end of the game. Namine definitely cared about him ("So, we can be together again!"), and Roxas was happy to see her again, but I didn't see that as evidence that they loved each other... Or whatever. They just seemed like friends happy to be together again.

Namine wanted someone to care about her and to be her hero, and she tried to make that Sora. So she replaced herself with Kairi. But that meant that Sora really loved Kairi, not her. Ending up with Roxas instead seems fair. She'll still get her hero and someone who cares about her. Maybe Namine and Roxas will later end up being together and loving each other and whatever, but I didn't see them as much more than friends in KH2.

That's pretty true. I think Roxas and Namine were meant to be together, but Sora deserves better than someone like Kairi.

 

Namine says when Sora and Kairi are together, they will,too.(in the end of game Sora come back to Kairi) Roxas and her are meant to be.

 

If Sora's with Kairi, then it' logical to think that Roxas should be with Naminé. But she seemed really interested in Sora in CoM, like Repliku said. I actually think Roxas and Naminé are just friends more than anything. Destiny's Force, of-course Naminé saved Roxas, wouldn't anyone else?

 

Riku didn't, despite him actually feeling pity toward Roxas. Namine saved him because she was the only one who could (and cared).

I agree on the fact Namine and Roxas are meant to be together, and they really show that at the end of Kingdom Hearts II, and Namine sounds more excited about it. Yes, she was really into Sora in CoM, but that doesn't mean she couldn't have changed the way she thought about him in Kingdom Hearts II.

Don't forget that Sora and Kairi may actually not like each other the way we think they do. You'll never know, even if it seems that they do like each other like that.

In my personal opinion, there wasn't enough time for Roxas and Namine to really know each other and to, you know, develop pseudo-feelings for each other. My rationale for this lies in that Namine was trying to make up for her actions to Sora (whom in my opinion she is really after and cares for). As for the "I finally got to meet you" part in Twilight Town, I think she just wanted someone else to see and compare to herself in regards to her own rather, alone existence.

Couple this with the fact she breaks down the harsh truth to Roxas right before he gets fused back to Sora, she doesn't seem to have much care for him; a smile is one thing, actions are another. Consider Larxene if you must, she smiled and laughed almost all the time but in the context of her actions she was nothing short of cruel. I consider Namine to be a meeker version of this coldness (or lack of care) towards Roxas. I also consider the ending FMV smile-back to be rather plot-holed filled when comparing how Namine first met Roxas to when she meets him again. I also consider Roxas' 180degree behavioral turn to be a rather hole-filled ordeal after the angst fest in Twilight Town. :\

Basically although the pairing seems rather appealing aesthetically, I don't really consider it to be a very strongly backed one given the time and how they acted on one another which is far too short. I suppose at best you can call the Namine and Roxas pairing a "I found someone just like me, I'm not alone"....but I hardly think this garners "love". Also, considering how different and "special" they act seperately from their "somebodies" I believe they don't necessary have to be connected at the hip with each other just because "Sora and Kairi are".
