Hitting theatres December 16, 2016, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue Squadron will follow a group of Rebel soldiers as they attempt to steal the plans to the Death Star. Cast: Felicity Jones Riz Ahmed Sam Claflin Diego Luna Ben Mendelsohn Darth Vader will also appear in the film in a man-behind-the-man role. The film will be executive produced by John Knoll of Industrial Light & Magic, along with Simon Emanuel and Jason McGatlin. Kathleen Kennedy and Tony To will produce, with Jon Swartz co-producing. Alexandre Desplat will score the film. Discuss!
From the article I read, it seemed like his actual role on-screen will be pretty small. It mentioned stuff like holo-projections, a la Palpatine (until Return of the Jedi, anyway). But I guess we'll see.
