Has anyone else played this game? I'm on my second playthrough and i think it's really quite good. One of the best RPG's i've played on the PS2. I just love the combat system.
Yeah I've played it, got it one of the first days it came out here, it's quite good. the battle system is similar to Star Oceans BTW if you like that type of style.
It's another example of a well-executed cliche. It's nothing new or truly original to the genre in terms of both storyline and gameplay, but the presentation makes it a fun and enjoyable experience to go through. Yes, I have played it--only once--but it was enjoyable. However, it wasn't anything 'great' or 'phenomenal' so I simply sold it back after beating it. A good rental, unless you're an RPG collector; but unless there's something specific about the game you find yourself liking, I personally don't see much motivation for a second run through.
I played it through once, and quite addictively. But it's the sort of game I can't see myself re-playing even after enjoying it. It's a good RPG.
