Rockband or Guitar Hero?

I was wondering which game was better. I own rockband 2 for 360, but when I look up some of the songs on youtube, I occasionally see some users commenting that GH is better and sht like that I checked out some GH videos and personally I'm on the fence. It seems GH's songs are slightly better but RB2 is more "polished" the guitar/drums/vocals display looks nicer and I know the songs more...

so...

which game do you think is better?

 

Personally, I prefer Rock Band, but it's really whatever you prefer. I like Rock Band because the drums and singing parts are more polished. I've also noticed Guitar Hero sometimes uses covers of original songs, while Rock Band doesn't. They're really only different in small ways, but I prefer Rock Band.​

Rockband is by far better in my opinion.

I choose Rock Band. Guitar Hero was the original, yes, but Rock Band really expanded on Guitar Hero and made it more fun for parties. Rock Band looks and plays smoother than Guitar Hero. World Tour really isn't great (I hate the drums) and despite the fact that World Tour has one of my all time favorite songs I'll stick with Rock Band.

Rock Band is more like, "THESE SONGS ARE FUN TO PLAY!".

Guitar Hero is more like, "LOL LOOK AT ALL THESE HXC KEWL BANDS WE HAZ! R WE KEWL YET GUISE?"

i heard that Guitar Hero has better songs but i've personally never played it even though Guitar Hero and Rock Band look exactly like the same game.

 

I have to go with Rockband on this one. Don't get me wrong, I love to play guitar, but I love singing more. ^.^

Guitar Hero...simply because my friends are Rock Band haters so I've never played the game. (not to say that I necessarily hate it <<)

But DDR beats both IMO. ;)

 

I like guitar hero more... the notes are a little harder to hit on rock band... but I love to play drums on rock band...

I mean gh1 and gh2 were created by harmonix
and wt is just copied from rock band with more ****** songs worse charts a way bigger time to hit the notes a cruel drum set and a thrown in song writer

and saying gh is more challenging as an excuse is bullshit there are rockband songs that are like soooooooo hard D:

 

Well im glad I went with Rockband then. Master Exploder by Tenacious D is the shit

before rockband came out guitar hero was okay but ive got to say that rockband is number #1 now.:)

 

Rock Band.

I have both, and both are great. World Tour has some of my all time favorite songs, and has some nifty features not in Rock Band (like skipping songs, changing difficulty mid-song, Beginner mode for the kiddies), but the overall experience just isn't as great as Rock Band's. The menus are way too simplistic, the celebrity appearances are completely unnecessary (AKA: showing off), and the drums and singing were done better in Rock Band (guitar is kinda tied).

Plus, Rock Band will always have more songs to play than Guitar Hero World Tour.

get both, IMO i think they are both great games in their own way. although apparently the guitar control for rockband lasts longer.
