Wow. I never thought I'd say this, but this sounds really really cool. Especially the "Pro" mode, which uses an actual guitar. I might just be getting this if I have nothing else to do. XD Probably not, I've already got enough real instruments.
The only thing I'm thinking of is the price of the bundle. If the drums/guitar/mic bundle only cost $200 and they were simple pieces of plastic imagine what actual instruments are going to cost bundled together.
Maybe, If they include a Jack-Controller adapter. But I don't see how they'd do that, because of some guitars having 21, 22 or 24 frets, it wouldn't be the same as the game guitar. But it would be very awesome.
POWERGIG! I really looking forward to RB3. Though the 2000's songs aren't impressing me so far, way too indie for my tastes. I hope the Pro mode will work for RB2 and downloaded songs.
Nevermind, the Rockband 3 guitar has actual buttons instead of strings on it. I'm waiting for them to release a video showing the pro mode on guitar and keyboard since I'd love to see how they implemented it.
sounds great and all but out of that song list i saw one song that i would willfully play the rest is kinda *shoots self* yeah...... but maybe they will have a decent rock and metal section because what they have shown so far is not only bad but just really really terrible. if you want to know i do like all kinds of music but my favorite type is nu-metal AKA Disturbed (not down with the sickness though cause that song = overrated) but thats my opinion
i heard they were making a Green Day rockband...is it true? and this game looks great. hopefully there'll be more songs to download, too.
*bump* Anyway,I just watched a video showcasing the actual guitar's pro mode playability, and it looks awesome. I wonder if they're gonna let us tab our own songs. Anyway, the guitar's a Squier, probably built like the Bullet Strat, real cheap. Shouldn't cost too much, the Bullet goes for 75-120 Euros.
