There's a lot of versions of this converted to books/tv shows/movies, etc. That's why I tried to make it as specific as possible. Also considering a movie has recently come out for it, I narrowed it down to Robin Hood for BBC. A few days I fell onto this gem. Maybe it's me watching it for hours at a time that my interest wanders back and fourth, but overall it's an excellent show. The casting is great for it, and the sheriff and his lackey are excellently cast. It has sometimes a modern touch with some humor and clothing, but it still makes an excellent watch just for the humor and fun of it. Anyone else see it?
I like the effects, even if it's modern digital effects. Also the archery in the show is amazing, I always loved the sport and admire some excellent archery. The acting is wonderful, the sheriff and his lackey are the best casted. Marian is also excellent, too. Robin is sometimes too much for me in one way or another, but overall, he's an excellent actor who I think in season one seems to be learning the role. I haven't finished season one yet by the way.
Stupid KHV. I made a thread about this show last year. It must've been deleted. I love this show, it's my favorite adaption so far. The only things I didn't like are... Spoiler Robin Hood and the Maiden die. ; ; Still, I think my favorite seasons were the first and last ones. First season because Robin Hood breaking people free from being executed was still fresh and exciting and the last one because Guy was now a "good guy". Although my favorite scene in the entire show was when Robin Hood went into that chamber to try and kill everybody(the Black Knights...?). <<;
