Road of Eons

This is an RP about a kid who became a great swordsman only three days after everything in his life turned for the worst.

Story:

The RP takes place in a megalopolis type city much like Midgar, only there's no Shinra and the city basically revolves around a huge arena type place where the leader lives and controls the system of living. The city has five sections, each specialize in a different occupation. The main city around the arena specializes in almost everything the five cities around it don't specialize in.

City One specializes in Weaponry and Military training
City Two specializes in Clothes and Armor
City Three specializes in Magic and Electricity for other cities
City Four specializes in Air, Water, and Ground transportation and Architecture
City Five specializes in Espionage and Infiltration supplies

Main City specializes in Secret Agencies, new companies, arena games, special holidays, living requirements, trade and commerce, war fronts, politics, laws, law enforcement, gang prevention, criminal prevention, police force, reconnaissance, Fire prevention, emergency wounds, preparing for new wars, city defense, Religion, and electing new leaders to take over. The story starts in Main City.

Our main character is a young boy named Ash Fatere. He had lost everything he once stood for and is now living a life of poverty and constant fighting. He is also the main hero of the story, so he has automatic access to the best weaponry, magic and armor.

This story takes place in a time much like FF12 or 13. Right now, our main combat forces have gone off to war with another land. Ash is taking the time while city defense is down to explore around the world, which is illegal in the Cities. He and a friend have taken an airship Ashes friend hand made and are using it for easy transport. Their first destination: The island of Nia'ru.

HISTORY: Dusti met Phantom in Main city when he traveled there to trade and was attacked by Phantom. After a short duel, Dusti had defeated Phantom and agreed to let Phantom travel with him. Not long after, Phantom traveled to Nia'ru with Dusti and both are currently on important business matters. Not much else can be said.

OOC: Well, that was relatively fast! I'm surprised he didn't sue you! Good job!

Max told me we're gonna' start soon.

 

No, he got sued, I was there watching from a bush. He's expected in court by tomorrow. Just joking, he didn't really go egg somebody's house. He went to the game store and bought Devil May Cry 4 for his XBox360.

 

OOC: Okay, guys, let's get on with the story already, huh?

 

OOC: Yes, let's.

Kai looked up at the gloomy sky as the rain began to fall. Normally, he would have gone inside, but something told him he shouldn't return to his home, so he walked around in the streets as the downpour came down on him. He walked toward the weapon smith to help him out with his daily work around the smith. He saw that Goja, the Weapon smith, was already at work making many weapons Kai didn't even know could exist. Goja looked up and welcomed him. "Good to see you, Kai. You're here to help out, right?" Kai nodded his head and walked into the smith, grateful to get out of the rain. His task was to help make the weapons. Kai was stunned. He didn't know how to make weapons, but Goja had already thrust the mallet at him. Kai looked at it, then looked up and shrugged and went to work.

 

Terra casually spied on an important meeting going on in Main City and aimed his sniper rifle at the head of the council. He heard the head of the council say "The meeting is over for the day, you're all free to go." Terra took this chance and pulled the trigger. Immediately the window shattered and the head of the council collapsed on the table. Screams of horror erupted from the building, and the city defense alarm had gone off. Terra smiled at his work, picked up his sniper, and quietly snuck away from the town. His destination was Nia'ru.

 

"So, er, Jack, where ARE we going?" Ash asked mildly as the airship approached the far off island of Nia'ru. "Just up ahead, check your map if you need to." Jack replied casually. Ash took out what looked like a compass and pushed a button. A small light erupted from the center and turned into a holograph map. Japanese writing marked the names of each island, and the English names underneath the Japanese writing gave the name in English. There was a third language, Ash didn't have real knowledge of it, but he could read it with relative ease and decipher what he said into English or Japanese. Jack knew the language as Kyanainese. Kyanai was a far off place where Jack had originally come from. Ash read out the word. "Hagkt Nia'ru Achu. The island of Nia'ru. Hm." Ash put away his map and sat back down in his seat as Jack drove the airship closer to their destination.

 

Kai stepped back and glared at the hammer he held. Of all his experience with iron and weapon making, he couldn't believe how much of a mess he had made out of a simple knife. The blade looked like something he had for breakfast(Which, coincidentally, he never HAD breakfast), the handle of the blade reminded him of the time he smashed his middle finger in the door, and the guard of the blade looked like it was flipping him off. Kai looked upward and sighed heavily. The weapon smith didn't notice.
