Kingdom Hearts II Riku's Nobody?

I've been wondering, how come Riku doesn't have a Nobody since he became a Heartless?

 

Riku was never actually a heartless. When he turned to the darkness, his heart was consumed by darkness, but he never actually became one.

Or at least that's what I've gathered. xD;

 

Well, he kinda looked like a Heartless after he turned into the darkness. XP

 

Riku was possessed by a Heartless in KH1 but he never really became one. Kind of like his body was taken over but his heart wasn't.

 

Ansem says "His heart belongs again to darkness".Riku does have a nobody but he hasn't turned up.If your heart is Consumed by darkness you create a heartless which, means he has a nobody.

Exactly. He wore the heartless insignia, but was never a heartless himself.

but a heartless is made when your heart is inguljed by darkness so he would have a heartless but his heartless i think will never have anything to do with the story

yet he didnt become a heartless :S but weres the rule that sais you cant be inguljed by darkness and not be a heartless and not have a nobodie? x]

 

i think Ansem in Kh1 said b4, only Riku's heart is left behind, so he is not a heartless and a nobody of his would not exist

 

Nobodies are made when the body loses it's heart, but when Riku was controlled by Xehanort he lost his heart (that went to the other side of kingdom hearts) but his body was still controlled by Xehanort's heartless so it couldn't go off to become a nobody. And when Xehanort was destroyed Riku was in control of it again.

Yep, like every1 said...Riku never had a HEARTLESS thus no Nobody...

Still...it's a shame...He'd b a great character to have a nobody...

 

This topic keeps coming up. Riku was never a Heartless himself. He never totally lost his Heart. When people said he 'fell to Darkness' or was 'gone to the Darkness' such as Ansem and Saix, it was misleading. Saix said it purely to rattle Sora. Also, it could be that Saix and others weren't sure what happened to Riku totally since from their perspective, Roxas 'beat' Riku and Riku turned himself over to Darkness taking the form of 'Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless'. They may really not have known he defeated the being within him at the Castle Oblivion in CoM. Riku only did speak to Axel and Namine of the Nobodies and attempted to talk to Roxas.

In KH1, Riku never lost his Heart. Instead, a Heartless merged with him. Xehanort's Heartless after he allowed this tried to kill Kairi, Donald and Goofy. Riku proved right there that he had not fully fallen to Darkness by his will (his heart and soul, mind) all coming forward at one time in front of Xehanort's Heartless and he held him at bay so the others could escape, find Heartless Sora and leave.

It was then that Xehanort's Heartless tossed Riku into Darkness, but Riku endured because he had Darkness within him but a will to live and his Heart had not totally surrendered to it. His spirit wound up in Darkness but he was not consumed by it to create a Nobody. Riku had no 'body' there but otherwise his spirit was in tact. He had his mind, soul and heart. He talks to Sora at the end of KH coaxing him on to fight 'Ansem' when Sora was falling. At the end when Ansem goes into Darkness after opening the door, Riku's body was returned to him. He had to remain in Darkness though to prevent Ansem from returning so that is why he remained behind.

I hope that clarifies it more for people to see. He was never like Sora, turned into a Heartless himself. He let Ansem have his body, but I believe seeing his friends in peril possibly saved Riku from being utterly consumed and instead made his will strong enough to face absolute Darkness when he was tossed in and keep his spirit all in tact to be able to leave to Castle Oblivion when the option presented itself. It's also clear that Riku was for a while in Darkness going along with King Mickey. So, you see, without a -heart- Riku would have a Nobody, but he never lost it at all. He did things that require a heart from the moment he let Ansem take him over to also being trapped in Darkness. In CoM as well, 'Ansem' returned to Riku and awakened the darkness 'in his heart' and it hurt Riku even physically. He had to continously fight Ansem, with the help of Mickey, to -keep his heart-. At the end of CoM, he is victorious in this and he states that even though Ansem is gone, the darkness of him remains in his heart. In KH2 he says that he suppressed the Darkness in his heart.

So there's the limited evidence that supports the fact Riku never actually lost his Heart in the whole thing. He lost his body only and his entire spirit otherwise was held together by Riku's will.

 

Riku never became a heartless. He was being POSSED by darkness. Hes heart never left hes body, so, he doesnt have a heartless nor a nobody.

 

Remember Namine, Namine is said by DiZ to be the creation of Sora's body holding onto Kairi's heart. So Namine was created when Kairi's heart was in another body. What if it works backwards, what if Riku had a nobody (Kirux I have used to call him in my Fan fics) that was made when his body was used by another heart, Xehanort's.

Nomura said Riku Has no Nobdy.. but if he did i thought it would have been axel.

if axel was rikus nobody then wouldnt riku need to have chakrams or axel hav e a keyblade? cause like sora, roxas has a keyblade, so wouldnt riku need axels weapon or vice versa?
