ok in kh 1 riku turns evil and then the darkness he wants turns him into xenorts heartless so doesnt that mean riku turned into a heartless or lost his heart and if so doesnt that mean riku has a nobody

 

I just believe he was a servant of Ansem's heartless. But I think that Riku's heart fell into darkness but not turn him into a heartless. So I don't believe that Riku has a Nobody like Sora did....but that is what I think.

 

Well that isn't entirely true because riku didn't actually turn into a heartless he was controlled by a heartless.

 

i thought that too, until i realized he wasn't a heartless. he was in darkness, not a heartless; like captian hook.

i dont no but wat im saying that the heart less was controling him but he could have had his heart go to darkness so u see my point?

 

I assume he didn't, otherwise he would have tried to hold onto his own body.

 

Riku never became a Heartless. He surrendered his form to Xehanort's Heartless because of anxiety and wanting to save Kairi, and the Darkness askewing his perceptions, making things a lot more confusing than they had to be. However, he was residing in his body and he did emerge when Kairi, Donald and Goofy were going to get majorly trounced by Xehanort's Heartless, and held him back, enabling them to escape, get Sora and go.

After that, Xehanort's Heartless, who still had Riku's body, removed Riku's spirit and sent it to Darkness. Riku, however, was not ever consumed by Darkness and did not become a Heartless. He endured there, met King Mickey, helped him out and was at the end of the game whole because Sora defeated Xehanort's Heartless, which sent Riku's 'body' back to Riku. That's why Riku could not leave Darkness at the time and had to remain behind. He was dominant again and in control of his body, but at some point it was going to be bad if he left. CoM touches on this a lot more as he has to face Xehanort's Heartless, and he had quite a lot of trouble doing so.

 

That pretty much sums it up. Riku was falling into darkness when Xehanorts heartless turned up. He took over Riku's body to have possesion of the keyblade and be able to weild it, Riku then fell into darkness but I think him being Xehanorts heartless somehow stopped him becoming a heartless therefore has no nobody.

 

He would have probably had a nobody if he was controlled by a non heartless but I guessing he didn't have a Heartless because Ansem was already a Heartless controlling him and before that Riku hadn't given into full darkness like Ansem had.

 

I was confused by this for a while, but I think I get it now. I don't think Riku has a Nobody because he was not actually turned into a Heartless, he was just being controlled by one. In other words, he had a lot a darkness in his heart, but he didn't actually lose his heart.
