Traditional Art Riku-Lost in Darkness

Got bored so I did this really quick 1. Apparently, it turned out better than I thought so I'm probably gona work on it some more. Anyways, this is wat I have so far...

OMG, I remember when we did this in an assignment!! :D You should finish it, the result may satisfy you loads.

A tip from me: You have to think the opposite of what you're used to. Here you can't make shadows, only highlights. (it takes so little to completly mess up, trust me on this) So pay extra attention as you work on it, here's an example of white lineart on a black background if it helps to inspire you:

While you're on the sketching stage, I'd try to make sure the arm/hand doesn't end up looking twisted out of propotion.

 

lawl, I remember doing this out of a book once. The whole opposite thing. It was really confusing...I dunno how this idea popped up in my head...
