A way to put myself right back into Kh-Vids after an absence? This way.

Plot: After being on the run from new flyboys and Erasers, Max, the flock, and Fang of course, have run into another flock of Teens and kids (Us. Also the Gen. 77 Kids) Now, we have to band together to stop the newest director of the school, Dr. Hana Lawerence.

Will you come along for the ride? The Maximum Ride of course.

Rules-
No godmodding. Come on, even the flock gets hurt. (Fang, this means you)
No powerplaying.
Cursing is welcome, just dont go around saying very BAD words, like F*** or B****.

Bio: Leilani is the leader of this "New flock", fearless and at times, a nasty opponent. She's alot like Max, but it takes less time to get her angry. Her wings come from a Raven, since they are a black and dark purple in color.

Bio: Kate is always behind her friends ready to back them up, she can be childish at times but is determined and will work hard when her friends need her. Her wings come from an barn owl as they are white and brown, this also allows her to fly completely silently as her wings don't make a sound when they beat.
DNA: 98% Human, 2% Barn Owl.

Appearance-

Bio: Ignelia, (or Iggy as it is easier to say) is rather quiet around most people. She however opens up to those close to her and those she trusts. If you can get her to do this, you'll have a loving friend for life who does in fact show a really cheeky, cute, fun-loving side. Her slight withdrawnness could be due to the fact that like most bird-kids, she didn't get the best start in life unlike a lot of other 'normal kids' (as she'd put it). Her wings are pure white like that of her 2% Dove DNA, which also match's her pure white hair just for convenience of fashion and looking awesome.
Comes from the same 'School' as Leilani.
DNA: 98% Human, 2% White Dove

...I was considering taking one of the characters (Fang)... but despite having read all of the books many times... I think I'll avoid it lol, I tend to avoid doing real characters in general for fear of not being able to do justice to the true character... :P
Also, might make a second OC later.

Accepted! Okay, we offically start posting now!

OOC: Leilani looked around, her wings beating softly in the air. She and her flock were in a huge lab named the School-a place where scientists graft animal DNA into you. "Okay, I have to get out of here!" She hissed, shooting upward to the white ceiling. "....These weirdo scientists, trying to kill us! You guys!? Where are you! Report!"

"Angel, for the last time, No! We can't keep little puppies! We're kids with bird DNA, if you haven't noticed! We can't take care of Total's pups." I walked to my room, slamming the door in indignation. "These kids drive me insane." Slowly, I looked around my room, looking at the old laptop we had-one we had gotten a little while back. "But, they are my family, and family does that to each other." Pause. "I just wish they would lay off."

 

"I'm here." Ignelia said to Leilani.
She was on the floor, stretching her pure white wings out. She suddenly jumped and flapped them, taking off gracefully into the air and joining Leilani.

 

"Okay, good. I heard scientists down the hall, their getting closer. Do you know where Sora and Kate are?" Leilani looked around, her dark eyes scanning the halls. "Their next project is getting the Generation. 54 kids, but I don't even know them. Do you think they're dead or something?"

 

"...I don't really know..." Ignelia said while looking around.
"I don't think we should stay here though... we'll get caught again if we aren't careful."
She felt a small mark on her arm... a sign of the punishment they had gone through the last time they had been caught.
"We need to find the others... fast..." she said, her cute yellow eyes staring into Leilani's, showing her slight fear.
Regardless of how scared she was though, she'd follow Leilani to the ends of the Earth if she had to.

 

"I'm not dead yet" Sora flying next to Ignelia and Leilani." And I don't plan on dying anytime soon".

Bio: Nikko is very loud and very opinionated, she can't stand when someone tries to keep her down. Let her fight, and she'll go on without a hitch, probably earning quite the few injuries on the way.

"Yeah, let's go!" Leilani spread her wings and shot off, looking for her flock on the way. "Kate!" She called. "Ignelia, Sora, look out!" She hissed, watching Erasers-Half man, Half werewolf run down the hall they were just flying in. She held herself in between the beams of the ceiling, biting her lip. "On three...we fly out."

"Sora!" Ignelia quietly, but excitedly squealed, tackle hugging him in mid air.
Sora was cool and kind and caring. She viewed him as a sort of older brother figure, she also loved the contrast of their wings, her pure white against his pitch black.

 

"Whoa" Sora said not expecting Ignelia to tackle him."Got it" he said to Leilani


OCC: Got to go, be back later

 

"Uh-hmm.." Ignelia sounded her sign of understanding the plan, also hiding with Leilani now.

 

"Okay....." Leilani watched the sea of Erasers below, while alarms started to make her ears bleed. "One.....Two.....THREE!" She screeched, taking off swiftly. She folded her wings against her back, speeding forward to up to at least 200mph. "Sonic Boom!" She commanded, hearing erasers snarl at her while they tried to shoot the trio down.

 

Kate was suddenly flying fast beside Leilani, seemingly appearing out of nowhere as her silent owl wings meant that they couldn't hear her flying. She smiled apoligetically at Leilani as she flew, as if to say sorry for worring her.

 

Ignelia took off after Leilani, trying her best to keep up.
But Leilani was probably the fastest flyer of them all.
Ignelia tried to ignore the snarls and snaps of the Erasers roaring below them. She dodged bullets by making gracefully sharp arcs and spins in the air, but wondered how long she and the others would be able to keep this up for. She really didn't want to get caught again... she feared even imagining what would happen to them if caught.
It terrified her.

 

"Alright, Kate's here! We got everybody!" Leilani cheered, dodging a bullet and crashing through a window. Sunlight flooded her vision, making her eyes water. She hadn't been out for three years, the last time they had escaped. "Let's get to a safe house, then we can talk." She told them, rising upward. She spotted a road and pointed to it, her wings beating softly. "Let's try that road."

If they hadn't have been flying for their lives, Ignelia would also have tackle hugged Kate.
Leilani pulled even further ahead and smashed through a window. Ignelia made for the window too, but then a bullet forced her to make a sharp dodge, that dodge bought her downwards. She could already see it coming, what was going to happen next.
She tried to pull up in time, she nearly suceeded but an Eraser had jumped up and grabbed hold of her ankle with his clawed hand and was determined to drag her down. She struggled, trying to climb higher with her flight but could feel her wing strength failing. The other Erasers started grabbing hold of their buddy, weighing her down more.
"Help!" she cried out to the others. She could feel the Erasers grip tighten around her ankle, if it wasn't for her mutant bird-kid bone density giving her stronger but lighter bones, they would have snapped her ankle by now.
She was being pulled lower, she stretched out her hands, beating her wings furiously and cried for help again. "Please! Help somebody!"
