He is rather introverted, as he doesn't want to burden others with his problems. He's also very serious most of the time, and able to keep his cool in many dangerous situations. He very rarely smiled due to past events, but has recently learned to relax just a little bit and let himself enjoy little things around his treasured friends. Growing up in the Satillite Slums, he has learned survival skills, and can easily take care of himself in almost any situation. However, he'll abandon his own needs in favor of someone who needs help. He places great priority on the friendships and bonds he has made. A good example of this is when he initially entered the Fortune Cup, having only entered due to a threat that his friends would be harmed if he didn't. He is extremely loyal and wouldn't betray his friends for anything. Yusei is a great duelist in his universe (That means he's good at card games), and is currently the Duel Monsters Champion. However, he rarely acknowledges this, due to his humble nature. He is very intelligent and has some expertise is physics and mechanics, explaining he how he built his own Duel Runner (Motorcycle) from scratch, twice. If you can imagine it, he can probably make it out of scrap and spare parts. One of his favorite things is to work with with electronics, and, in fact, he's made a business out of it, and currently works as an odd jobs/mechanic guy. He also has a great fear of insects, but is slowly starting to get over it due to a few events that I'm not putting here because you guys would get bored with reading about it. Powers & Abilities: Yusei is one of the top-ranked duelists in his country, but that probably won't help him much here. His intelligence allows him to build and repair any necessary electronics he (or others) would need. He also has one of the Marks of the Crimson Dragon, but without others who also have a mark, all it is is just a pretty tattoo. What items will they be bringing with them? His clothes (Black tank with a deep blue jacket, jeans, amber shoulder, knee, and elbow pads, leather gloves, and calf-high motorcycle boots) and his solar-powered Duel Disk, complete with his deck. Third-Person Sample: Yusei tightened the last bolt on the microwave he was working on and set down the wrench he had been using. He winced at the sounding 'CLANG' that echoed throughout the garage, then stood the microwave rightside-up, the front facing away from him. He picked it up, careful not to trip over the wire, and set it down on the table in the corner, ready for it's owner to pick it up in the morning. The black-haired boy returned to where he had been sitting on the floor and began to pick up his tools and spare parts. Leaving them in the middle of the room probably wasn't the best idea, seeing as last time he had done that, Jack had tripped over his screwdriver and nearly hurt himself. Yusei hadn't been allowed in their room that night. He had just finished putting away the scrap parts when a loud 'CRASH' sounded from upstairs, followed by the sound of incomprehensible arguing. Yusei looked toward the staircase and wondered what those two could possibly be arguing about now. He grabbed his jacket off the back of a chair and pulled it on as he climbed upward. He popped his head up above the floor at the top of the staircase and found the source of the problem; Crow and Jack had somehow managed to flip the kitchen table completely upside down, and the floor was littered with the remnants of broken glass and squashed flowers, water slowly seeping across the wood. Crow and Jack stood to the side of the mess, arguing, presumably over who's fault this was. Yusei climbed the final few stairs and emerged fully into the room, stopping the argument in it's tracks. Yusei looked stoicly at the two men, and then at the overturned table. "Hey, guys? Why is the table upside-down?" First-Person Sample: Well, that was a bust. I'm still working on the new program for out duel runners, but it's not going as well as I'd hoped. I must be doing something wrong, but what is it? I must have run it through the computer a dozen times, but every time it comes out wrong. Here comes Jack. He must be worried that I'm working too hard again. I wish he wouldn't, he has his own worries, he shouldn't add me to them. "Hey, Yusei, you all right?" "Yea, I'm fine," I reply. I enter a few more keystrokes into the computer. He spins my chair around and looks straight into my eyes. Is he trying to see if I'm lying? "Jack, I realize it's hard for you to go an hour without looking at me, but I really do have work to do." I say dryly. It seems he's done scrutinizing me because he stands up straight and turns to go back to the couch. I breath an internal sigh of relief. "If I see you start to hurt yourself with all this work, I will personally drag you away from that computer." I allow myself a small smile. "I wouldn't have it any other way." EDIT: Bump. GOGOGOGOGOGOGO.
