This is a review I made for Google's new web browser beta that was recently released.

Now I was using IE 6 before, so I decided to upgrade to something newer and thought "Hmm... why not Google's new browser"

It's just a beta, but kind of interesting.

    The Good:

    - Fast Loading Times. IE never loaded pages nearly as fast as Chrome does, which is pretty nice.

    - Spell Check: No more making sure all of your spelling is correct, the spell check option works similar to the way MS word does. Very handy especially for forums.

    - Button Favorites: It's a lot nicer to add button favorites rather then a crazy long list of sites. Just add them on the top there.

    - Better error messages: Is that even possible? Yeah it is, instead of waiting for the End Now to slowly load you can kill programs on command. It actually gives you the option to "Kill them" which I find rather amusing.

    - Nice popup blocker: A lot better than IE's, where everything seems to get around it.

    The Bad:

    - Random Close outs: If you are jumping around pages too quickly, hit backspace too many times, or have too many tabs open the entire browser will close out on you. Kind of annoying if you ask me.

    - Lack of plug-in support: Sadly since it's new, most plug-ins are supported on it. Not to mention you have to reinstall all of your old plug-ins that do work on Chrome.

    - Pathetic toolbar: There's hardly any options for cookie settings and you have to set everything up by hand. There's not even a default home page button on the tool bar, you have to add it there yourself.

    - Downloads: It's really annoying that everything wants to be sent to Google's download folder, I feel like I'm in Windows Vista (and I'm not).

-Memory: Simple as that, uses most of your memory. So I wouldn't use it with other browsers.

Overall: For a beta it's pretty nice, but it has it's ups and downs. Hopefully some things will be fixed in later versions.

Where do I download it at?

I have a desire to try it out, never could find it though.

Good review, btw. My only problem will probably be the plug-ins.

Nice review, but some of the positives are actually capable on firefox; xD I've got a spellcheck app that works like word like you said. The killing error messages makes me lol. I'd like to try it out, but I think I'll wait until they fix a few of the flaws n' it's no longer a beta version to do so, as I'm quite content with the firefox I'm using as of now.
